Forget Raheel and David we need this man doing No Layups!

And he needs to do it in a towel in his bedroom.

Ratings have shown that people prefer the top superstars and winning teams in the finals

From the marketing point of view, the next best thing behind Lakers-Cavs is Rockets-Magic. The two best centers slugging it out, and the Rafer subplot. Not to mention some historical connections with T-Mac and the Shaq-Penny sweep.

Does anybody care about a Rafer subplot?

The only marketing advantage that series would have would be the huge increase in Chinese viewers. No casual fan is going to care about anything you mentioned.

I think provided both Kobe and Lebron get to their respective Conference Finals, you will at least see one of them in there. Whichever wraps up first and has their big dog being eliminated will seal the deal for the other big dog's opponent.

If Kobe goes down, Lebron's team WILL 100% prevail in that series. I dont care if they are down 3-2 on the other teams floor for game 6. You will see at least ONE of those players in the Finals.

Watch the refs bleed out the Rockets by drawing out the rest of the series while LA gets a long rest after they beat Utah tonight.

    other fearless predictions:
Atlanta is not beating Miami (b/c we want an El BJ vs. Dwyane series)
The non-Laker Western Conference semifinals will go to 7 games (soften them up for the Lakers)
The non-Cav Eastern Conference semifinals (Boston vs. Orlando) will also be drawn out no doubt

    It's a conspiracy, man!

Crush, you've got a one track mind.

I'd be very wary about the refereeing tomorrow. I expect a lot ticky tacky crap on Yao certainly.

Bumping this thread since the best way to have a Kobeless Finals is for the Rockets to beat them. :D

    Yes!

The dream of a Kobeless Lebronless final is still very alive..

I had hoped it would be the Rockets working on the Western side of the equation but I'll take the Nugs.

yeah well, the cavs r the new bulls. so a win against the current bulls would
    mean nothng to the media.

on top of that i think the bulls r the only team that can beat
    a healthy rockets squad.

    Why would it be great?

They are both fun players to watch.

It would be good for the league for obvious reasons.

It would be the two best teams during the course of the regular season.

If you don't like the hype, ignore it and watch the games. It's not hard.
