Dude, no offense, but you are a complete numbnut and the reason no one wants to help answer your question is because you are such a complete numbnut who is completely oblivious on just how big of a numbnut you are.

Because he's a young player trying to find his way with a veteran team. He needs to find a medium that benefits both sides. he will need to learn when to turn it on and off. thats why everyone says pg is the hardest position to learn in the nba.

if AB's BB IQ not increased, then i simply want AB on the bench in most of time, just use him in some special situation.

AB's court vision is poor and that ability never can improved by training. His ceiling might be Bobby Jackson IMO.

Aaron is a good player and glad he is on our team. I am not saying he doesn't make mistakes. However, we all need to keep in mind that he is a developing talent, and he is still learning. I like the speed he has, and how he enables us to pick up the tempo. On certain nights it creates a huge match up advantage for us depending on the opposition. He will fix some of these mental mistakes with more experience. Right now he can be frustrating to watch at times because he takes shots when he should be passing, but I still think his true potential is yet to be seen.

I prefer Ron to dribbling instead of AB, but shooting the ball by AB as long as 20/5 from pathetic Ron. :D

    At BEST.

I would be THRILLED if he can be as good as Bobby, but i kind of doubt it...

Only an idiot would say that Brooks didn't contribute to the Rockets winning.

Yes,that's true. Bobby is more of a 1 and a half then Brooks. Aaron's court vision is less than his and he is shorter/leaner as well. Bobby also had quick hands on defense and used to come up with steals. I don't see Aaron hitting many clutch shots either.

omfg r u just gonna dig up the whole thread to post ur "omg tivo tivo tivo!!!" crap again???

ok, since your boneheaded brain can't let this tivo tivo tivo!!! thing ever be let go and stop being a one trick pony with this same r****ded line when it comes to this discussion of WHETHER AARON WAS PART OF THE FAULT...I'm just gonna presume..or wait...conclude with substantial evidence...that your too stupid to ever get what I was saying...

first of all u numbhead I'd like to repeat myself on this statement for the 2342th and last time...I WAS NOT POINTING THE BLAME AT AARON BROOKS!!! Is that sentence not compatible with your numbskull???? Ok, I admitted that I did not watch the whole game..I only made that clear to leave my hypothesises open to rebuttal and correction...at no point in this thread I was going...OMG OMG AARON U SUX U CANT PASS TO YAO!!!...do u happen to ever get any of this??

maybe from the title of the thread I sound like I'm critiquing aaron brooks...for example a "question" of does von wafer know how to defend??? sound like a swipe at vons defence........................however, note mr tivo........its not as simple as..did aaron make that entry pass to yao...its more like...did the excessive dribbing prevent any good passing looks that may have been possibly made by other players been dribbled away and thus forced yao to abandon trying to establish a solid post position and come out for a high screen as he always did when the shot clock was running low??? as u may have already known I am no expert analyst or strategy coach so I obviously may not have known the possbilities that goes with each option aaron brooks decides to take...whether its dribbing away 18 secs and making a last second salvage move...or passing off to battier after 15 secs and camping out on the perimetre...each move obviously affects how yao was gonna get the ball...but since your r****ded brain cannot process past the stupid assumption that I was simply asking whether aaron brooks threw the ball 5 meters to yao true or false...I am not gonna try to convince u stubborn r****d ever again...I'mnot even concentrating on the fact whether brooks made that entry pass or not...do u not get that??? I presume ur iq was never high to get it either...

    tivo tivo tivo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wow brooks was bad last night. it was like he was making an impression to not shoot the ball or look for his shot. im telling u we need our PGs to score 20+ if we want to go deep in the playoffs.

Aaron Brooks is the future of our team. He has all the skills to be an explosive point for years to come. He has speed, shooting, passing, and handling skills that are either above average or amazing.

Having said that, his only achilles heel is mental. He needs to know that when 5 guys are on the court, everyone has to contribute. Yes this is Yao Ming's team, but he needs help too. He needs to understand that he should take at least 10 shot attempts a game because his offensive game is a big strength for the team. Shane has defense, so he doesnt need to take as many shots, but Brooks has offense, so he needs to shoot.

Good Win and lets take care of business in portland!

it's really not too hard to spell the word 'YOU'.

and its really not too hard to actually watch the Rockets game to see if Aaron Brooks passes the ball to Yao.

The game is on NBATV, I suggest you watch it this time or find someone with a TIVO to record it for you.

AB is a weapon. You don't use the same weapon on every opponent or circumstance your in. Sometimes you need a grendade, sometimes a shotgun, sometimes a hand gun. AB contributes to winning if used correctly.

If he has a supreme quickness advantage against an opponent on offense, his deficiencies can be masked by his teammates on defense.

If you can't see the value Aaron Brooks brings to the team in his first year as a starter then some of you need to go watch some old tape of Tony Parker in 2002-2003. And for the people who said his ceiling is Bobby Jackson...Bobby Jackson was a freaking sixth man of the year, we could be so lucky if he gets that good.

No more hyperbole than folks saying he does not contribute to winning.

If AB is the future of this team, Rox is doomed. He's a backup PG material, who can be used as instant offense from outside. His indecision can be improved over his career, but lack of court vision is going to be fatal.

AB's shooting is average at best among NBA starting PGs, and to call AB's passing "above average or amazing" is worth a good laugh.

AB played very well in game 1 except 3 or 4 dribble maniac possesions, but he's been playing worse and worse ever since on.
