“If he was outside the (restricted area), yeah it was charge,” Roy said. “I just tried to get into the paint and get some contact.”

roy talks about the charge on chuck hayes.

i was a bit surprised since i haven't heard such as honest answer from any of these younger generation players.

i also noticed from the replay after i got home that roy tried to avoid a clash on top of chuck's body underneath (like a knee) when he fell down.

You could see it when he saw Hayes there when he went up that he was just going for it. He knew Hayes had position, but was really nothing he could do. He had to go for it though, maybe the refs would make a no-call. He did hold up a bit, but just wasn't enough. Great play by Hayes.

Technically he is right. I didn't hear him say it was a charge. If he has seen the replay,it would have been appropriate to say that he had no compliant about the call.

It was a charge. This time BRoy was at least sort of honest about it. It was probably the perfect example of a charge.

Unlike on the other hand...the key charge drawn by Chuck Hayes on Linus Kleiza...Kleiza tried to rush into the lane and dish it off at the last minute to the big man Nene.....afterwards Kleiza cried like a baby..."I dunno how but it wasn't a charge...he just fell down..."

shows the class difference between players of different calibres

And, while Brooks had an absolutely terrible night tonight, remember 1. He pulled waaaay more than his weight in the previous 3 games, and 2. He was shooting those free throws ice cold.
As for Artest, agreed. basically he gets selfish, though except for tonight he's been better about it.
My biggest problem with the Rockets is that toward the end of the game it seems we run far fewer play and there is much more of (usually Artest, Brooks, or Wafer) just dribbling and jacking a bad shot. Luckily we pulled it off.

also, he played very little in game 1, and didn't do much in the last 2 games. He'll feel it in the morning.

Artest's defence is much better than t-mac's, and Ron can attack the basket

artest's defence is tough than tmac and good in 1-to-1 but
i dont think his overall defence is "MUCH" better than tmac...
we have seen vangundy always use tmac on other team's star
when battier has not joined us.

ONE more please! That wins got to come at any cost and it better be the very next game. Blazers will be feeling the sting and its the best time to finish them off.

Those days are well gone. McGrady's defense has deteriorated considerably along with his injuries.
