Has anyone ever used a website to have roses delivered?

    I just placed an order to have some roses delivered to my significant other using www.florist.com

    They are supposed to be hand-delivered by a local florist sometime during the business day tomorrow. Has anyone ever used an internet service to have roses delivered? If so, what was your experience like? I just shelled out $65.00 for a dozen roses arranged in a vase so I am a little concerned about everything working out accordingly.

    Someone please ease my mind!

    RM95's Girl does it all the time, even though I think it's with someone else.

    She's never had any problems.

    Yes......1-800-FLOWERS, the website, is great. I have never had any problems with stuff arriving on time or any other types of problems for that matter....

    I've used 1-800-flowers and FTD several times and it's worked out great. I've used it for Valentine's day a few times and never had problems. You're somewhat at the mercy of the "local florist" though as that's where they ship from. So someone using FTD from Chicago may get different results than somebody in Houston, but like I said, I've never had any problems.

    Ive had problems with 1800-flowers. They delievered the boquet to the wrong person! The dimwits put a guys name on there (i have no idea where they got it) The girl worked with her dad at his office, whos name happened to get put on the card! ( i never told his name, so it was pure coinidence) So i explained the problem (he was suprised he got them and thought it was a secret admirer) and they wanted me to call her dad and ask him to give it to her! WTF? I told them no, to send them new ones to her, since he thought those were his and they clearly screwed up (her name was on their record) So THEY called him and had him give them to her! How Tacky!

    Just about every florist delievers. Call up a couple in his/her local area and have them put something together .... skip the middle man.

    They were delivered at 3pm (a little later than I expected), but it was an overall success.

    Can anyone tell me how much money I could have saved if I had just called a local florist and had a dozen roses delivered? I would like to know for future knowledge.
