draft Amare Stoudemire??? I know the whole Rudy wont draft a high school kid but is that the only reason? I think this kid has a tremendous upside and have you seen the video on this kid....unreal. Give me some feedback.

i like him but we alrady have griffin, ming upfront. i think we will address our sf needs with this pick (nachbar?) or trade it to do the same thing (odom baby!).

From what I've read about him he's a very athletic, tough, great shotblocker and rebounder. He's supposedly already physically ready for the NBA. I think he would be a good fit on the front line with Griffin at small forward and Ming at center. He would provide the toughness that the Rockets frontline so desperately lacks. His main weakness is that all he can do is dunk, but the team would already have so many scorers with Ming, Griffin, Cat and Francis that he probably wouldn't need to score much anyway.

If we drafted Ming and were still able to get Odom this offseason without having to give up one of Franchise, Cat, or EG then I would probably become so overstimulated that my head would explode.

Odom helps us now and can help share some of the ballhandling so Francis doesn't have to do so much. Plus he's a rebounder and can give some swats and post up. Ming will help us in the future and give us the combination of talent and desire at the center position that we've been lacking since the Dream (pre injury years). Man, what an offseason. CD would get GM of the year right after doing that. Unfortunately I don't know that we could get Odom in that manner. Does LA want another draft pick at 15? Kenny T would give them a backup big man that they need but we really don't have much else they'd want.

I'm not sold on the High School ballers. It takes them several years to be worth the money. Look at Lewis, he is just now starting to excel, and now he's a free agent, albeit a restricted one. There are exceptions, Kobe, Garrnett, but most aren't worth the gamble.

how does nachbar compare to say......Langhi???

the reason I ask, is that if Rudy takes him at #15 (assuming he's available), know our track record, he might as well be as bad as Langhi......any coments on tis guy?

i think Jeffries might fall into our lap or we might have to move up maybe with the clipps at 12 to get him or woods. Either way, our needs can be addressed this summer at the 3 and 5 spot.

I would love to see the Rocks put a package together to nab Butler, either obtaining his rights or moving up to draft him.

Yao & Butler in the same draft, VERY NICE!

I think LAFade is right on about Nachbar being gone at 15.

I also think he will be the steal of this draft and the Rockets should get him if they want a starting SF out of this draft.

Butler or Nachbar if he plays will be the ROY.
