keep grinding and grinding ...... on my heart. Oh, boy, this is the sweetest win to me. Now let's do what JVG had said: "Rockets in 5!!"
He played 44 minutes tonight. This is a must win game and we need him on the court. Good work big fella!
I confess that we had no chance when the Blazers made that big run in the 3rd quarter. I was hoping for Lowry,Landry and Hayes to come in. At that time I was still willing to keep Ron in,hoping that he would post up with Luis being out. I'm glad Wafer came in to give us a kick start. If Adelman had brought in the bench earlier,we probably wouldn't have gotten in such deep trouble. Aaron is too inexperienced to handle being a 1. All the role players deserve a lot of credit especially Shane but we shouldn't forget the most important thing out of it all,Yao Ming got going tonight in the vital 4th quarter. Without him, nothing else would have worked. Adelman has to trust the bench more. Ron's 5-20 was terrible, his 9 assists compensated it to some extent but we can't afford to make such mistakes. Our guys have to execute a lot better on both ends, but they should go out with an aggressive and positive attitude in Game 5 like in the first game. Gotta stop worrying about the fronting stuff. Closing out a series is the hardest thing of them all,but they have to take advantage of the pressure that Portland is in.
can someone at the game tell me what the stadium crowd was like in the 4th when Ron got the ball and started dribbling around/taking bad shots? i was at home and was yelling, i scared my roommate.
quote of the night "I get the offensive rebound and it just pisses everybody off" - Luis Scola on 610 after the game.
Man, talk about making (almost) every game an epic struggle. I'm pretty sure I've got an ulcer or two in the making! So relieved that we were able to get the big W. 3-1, baby!
