WHEW! Dicey at the end (it always is with this team). But this was a good win since we were behind six points beginning the 4th quarter.
Better lucky than good. First the good: Yao played well with some clutch baskets down the stretch Battier made some absolutely CLUTCH threes Scola, another solid game Now the bad: Ron Artest should have taken the night off, well, come to think of it, he did. He was absolutely horrible on offense: overdribbled, one on four, wretched shooting. Our guards can't make clutch freebies. Bottomline, baring a complete collapse, this team is going to round two.
I keep saying this, but if it wasnt for 5-6 DUMB Artest possessions a game, these games wouldn't be this close!!!!!! UGH
LOL... jesus, I muted the tv and chilled on my comp for almost the entire 4th qtr. I just couldn't watch. WOOOOOOO.. lets finish this in portland.
What a great awfull win!!! Artest might want to ask for forgiveness and thank all his teammates one by one, because it´s on him more than on Brooks that we couldn´t seal the game. He tried to go one on one and failed to score in 4 consecutive posessions. Hope he goes back to the role player Artest, that hurts less.
Losing the last game @ Dallas looks like a blessing in disguise more and more. If we had player the Hornets, Mavs or Spurs like this --> first round exit Lakers will sweep us no doubt if we keep this up. Gotta get a lot more aggresive if we even want to compete for the WCF. Battier was MVP along with Yao, Artest needs to go next year and I'm not sure Wafer should stay.
not really but i would take us over anyone except the cavs and lakers right now. too bad we're on the wrong side of the bracket.
Best game of the series. Gotta give credit to the Blazers for giving it their best shot, but it wasn't enough. What a win.
Battier, I want to have your baby! Lowry is BETTER than Brooks in this series so play Lowry more! Awesome win but they like to make things hard!! We'll get an easy win in Portland!!
indeed.. i'll take any win.. but i'm certaintly still not satisfied with this Rockets team.. i mean let's be honest.. for our so-called "best match-up".. since that blowout win.. which really was just the better team steam-rolling an inexperienced, young, jittery team.. with seemingly ill-prepared coaching.. every game has been frighteningly close.. one can't help but wonder how exactly they'll perform against a team like the Lakers.... one game/series at a time.. but what's happening now.. is cause for some concern.. for what can be expected later..
What the hell is wrong with you, we haven't even won this series yet. Calm the ##$% down and lets see what happens
