Not when he throws it away twice, the Lakers somehow have it bounce back to them both times, then the ball magically bounces to Gasol wide open underneath the basket, who gets a slap on the arm to make a three-point play.
This is reminding me of a game back in the spring of the '99 reg season, where Kobe had 35 points in the 2nd half against the Magic. He couldn't miss. That's when I first realized how good he could be. Lakers getting a little sloppy now though.
No surprise on the ref home cooking for Utah there. Boozer airballs a free throw and Utah is allowed to get the rebound.
I'd still like to see it. It would be a privilege to be smacked around by the best, rather than losing in the 4/5 matchup over and over again. How we lose to them will give Morey and crew a great idea on what to do during the offseason.
we're in the same position. we're just clearly better than portland b/c they're still inexperienced. we still haven't made the move to the elites.
losing the season series 0-4 didnt give u an idea yet? I sure hope u dont think kobe will let the rockets win when it counts....
Im not sure if im ready to handle the rockets getting humiliated on national tv and in the media and listening to the kobe dick riding constantly
would rather get swept by the lakers than lose to the Blazers, which would be a whole lot more embarrassing for Houston.
well not really...blazers have the 4th seed and we are 5 and we also havent gotten out of the 1st round in years...so people would expect it.... These lakers fans have grown and are continuing to grow and its hard listening to their mouth
I'd prefer that to losing to the inexperienced Blazers on national TV and having to endure the Brandon Roy dick riding...
It's so ridiculous how one idiotic, senseless GM (Chris Wallace in Memphis) changed the entire balance of power in the NBA for the next 7-10 years with one phone call. Crazy.
