I think the Rockets could possibly draft someone from the Clipps on draft day at 15 and send Cato and 15 for Kandi in a Sign and Trade. Then we could trade the Number one to the Grizz for maybe Wright and the number 4.Plus the grizz would wave our First Rounder owed to themm(If we get lucky). With the number 4 we could get Butler or Dunleavy Jr. I think that gives us a nice team and gives of two potentially dominant centers. We would get younger but not too young. We wold be:

    Wright-Kandi-Collier
    Griffin-MoT-KT
    Butler-Rice-Griffin-Tmo
    Mobley-Torres
    Francis-Mooch-Tierre

    What do you guys think?

Why have both Lorenzen Wright and Michael Olowokandi? I don't think the Clippers would take that trade for Olowokandi anyway. Plus the trade for the #1 pick for Lorenzen Wright and #4 would be a horrible trade.

    I'd rather have Ming.

Kandi man will become a Base Year Compensation player once he signs a new deal. In order to trade for him we'd have to have enough cap space to eat 50% of his new salary. We don't have the cap room to do that. You'd have to find a third team with cap space to absorb that money.

I dont really want to trade the pick unless we could get an uderrated C who is a future star and about a top 8 pick. Ming will bring us a lot. I think the trade offers are not just for Ming's ability, but for all the extra publicity and money and fans he will bring teams. He may be the big unknown but he will still greatly help teams in marketing trouble(Rockets) even if he is a bust. If he is a bust the fans will follow the team for about a year or however long it is till they figure out he is a bust. If he is a bust the media surrounding that bust could be good or bad. It could make us be considered as a bad franchise or it could draw attention to our franchise. Either way, its gonna take a lot to get Ming from us and like I said I wouldn't trade it unless I got a future star C and a high pick.
