Good article. Big men just aren't officiated correctly in the league. It's not a race thing. It's just big men in general.
the refs were under pressure from fans to not call pushing and shoving calls to Yao...because otherwise Oden and Pryzbilla would have both fouled out by half time...
True, guards especially star players usually get the benefit of the doubt or if fouled it is noticed. But the big guys usually can maul one another without repercussion for half the game.
I think Yao needs to flop in order to get this dumb ass refs to buy into how much force these little midgets exert on him. They're pretty dumb, if they see you fall, they will automatically give u the benefit of the doubt. The problem is Yao doesn't know how to flop.
