Like diapers for the elderly, it all depends on t-mac. We've all memorized the recovery times for microfracture surgery of half a year to a full year. The question is how long will it take t-mac, assuming he actually rehabs his knee this time?

It's a possibility he could be back for the start of camp. Nov 1/2 would be just about 8 months huh? He "could" do it, but it all depends on t-mac. I was discouraged when I was reading about the hours you have to put in for rehabbing for microfracture recovery and it's like 6-8 hours a day for however long it takes. Does t-mac have that in him? Or the better question is, does t-mac want to redeem himself in houston badly enough to do it?

If he plays another NBA game period, I'll be impressed. If he comes into camp in shape and fairly on schedule with rehab, I'll donate $20 to the tipjar.

I don't think you realize, but he flew to Houston from Chicago. Secondly, he had a brace on his knee while also on crutches about a couple of weeks ago (he could have still come for that one game you were talking about, but was it really that important?)

STOP BASHING MCGRADY! WHEN ARE YOU GUYS EVER GOING TO LEARN?
The guy gave his all the first couple of years in Houston. He tried to carry the team by himself when Yao went down numerous times in the past. If you can't see the passion he showed throughout his career in Houston then you are just plain blind. It's not Yao's fault that he got some freak injury earlier. It's not Mac's fault that he got a injury where you can clearly see it limits Mac's ability. I have never seen T-mac clank at the rim wide open in my entire life except for that one time when he said he has been playing with bad knees. Dude had his forearm above the rim dunking on Bradley like a beast and you guys are gonna bash him when he's injured? You, him and I all know that this year is the best chance for him to give a shot at the title. We have a VERY promising team. A premium Center at Yao. Two elite defender in Shane and Ron. A promising mini-mac in Von. A pair of up and coming unique guards in AB and Kyle. One of the most efficient power foward in Scolandry. The sky is the limit if you add MAC to this mix. You, him and I all know these facts. That's why the dude tried to play even though he was injured. He's an EMO b**** tho, he played without professionalism on the court coz he was frustrated. He was frustrated because of the injury. He showed no passion because of it, but i honestly think he can be forgiven because of the situations he has been through. As pity as a 7 series playoff virgin, he showed that he tried his best already. It's not his fault that the rosters were lack of talents when he played. He had a premature Yao at the beginning. A lackbuster 4 in Howard and a couple of old legs running the shows. Yet they were really good because Mac was such a facilitator that he made others better. You guys still remember how he carried the Rockets during the first couple of playoff series right? The guy's no joke. One of the reason why Ron came to Houston because he knows this is the place where he has a chance at the ring. Unfortunately he got injured and he mishandled the situation. The team Doc also has to take blame for it because there's no reason for the guy's vertical to drop about A FOOT and saying that he can still play through it. Then he received a MICRO FRACTURE surgery later? Are you serious that you are putting all the blame on MAC? holy chorist. For a guy who tried so hard for the team even by playing hurt just so he can have a taste at the 2nd round? Grant that was a stupid decision but you have to give it to his passion for the game. His salvation for winning a series. There is NO ONE ON THE TEAM works better with YAO other than MAC himself and you know it. No one on this team can mimic his drive and pass off to Yao right on the dime. No one can play a better pick and roll with Yao on the team. No one can pass better than Mac off the dribble on the team. He's worth every penny he's earning WHILE HEALTHY, PERIOD. If he can limit his FGA to around 10-12 per game and become the facilitator next year in a healthy body. The rockets will be the best team in the entire league hands down. Houston will beat the lakers in game 7 and the CAVS 5. We have a chance this year but if we have a healthy Mac we will be in favor vs the lakers instead of the opposite. sigh.. i am sooo soooo ****inggg tired of reading these Mac haters writing bs over and over again.

Dont be hypocritical. If you dont care what Tmac does, that is just fine. But how is him coming to the game and cheering on the Rox warrant no reaction, yet him picking the Lakers during a phone interview warrant 30 pages of Tmac bashing with you contributing about 100 negative posts.

Dont say his actions mean nothing, yet his words somehow angered the Gods.

I agree with you on one thing. The team and the fans shouldnt care about anything Tmac says or does for the rest of this season. If he comes to games fine, if not fine. If he comes and smiles fine, if he comes and doesnt smile fine. None of it matters. They guy can do no right for many of the fans here so why even debate it anymore.

Neither one warranted a reaction... the thing is such vicious arguing is bound to draw a bunch of people in. I enjoyed it.. it was sort of like when you fall into a trance watching a really bad car wreck occur.
