That one on Aldridge late in the game was a pretty blatant embellishment of minimal contact, so in essence... a flop.
The Blazers have no right to complain about flopping. Pryzbitcha is one of the best of the trade. He flops way more than Scola. Roy is also very adept at flopping.
histrionics much? would you REALLy stop watching your beloved Houston Rockets? think about what you are saying there... whatever it takes to win the series
I've been reading around on some sites, Scola sounds like he's the "matt harpring" or the "ak47" for the trailblazers to hate on. The "I hate scola" groups have already started on facebook.
Sam, leave Luis alone. The guy has huevos grandes and it is great to have his leadership in the playoffs.
I agree, id never stop watching. And im about ready to sell my soul for the rockets to get out of the first round for the first time in 12 years. I'm glad the rockets feel the same way.
I hate flopping in general... it's really stupid. I hate that we do have a flopper on our team, but at least Luis does make it up sometimes with his hustle. I wish they would just punish the floppers though, a technical foul against floppers would be nice.
No, no, no, no YES!!!!!! I'm sure that's many of you when Houston flops and gets the call. I dont like it anymore than y'all do, but let's face it, it's become part of the game ever since the refs started falling for it. It creates an advantage for teams, so teams that do it a lot and well createa significant advanrtage for themselves. Flopping is similar to jumping into guys, it's just as bad, but no one is complaining about Lowry. Why? Because he's efficient with it. Sometimes you have to adapt to the way the game is called. I agree Scola could turn it down a notch and shane's flowp last night was a bad one, but he gets some good ones in just like scola.
Flop whatever you want Luis, but keep leading the team, that´s what matters the most! This team needs a leader like yourself! The flopping issues can be discussed later.
The rest of the league is full of floppers. I wouldn't mind if one or two of our players flops occasionally.
I too, would love to see flopping taken out of the NBA, but right now the job is to do whatever it takes to get to the 2nd round.
It's about time some flop calls were pro-Rockets. We definitely had some calls go our way yesterday and I was pleasantly surprised. Then I was disgusted to think that Mavs, j*zz, and Lakers fans get to experience this type of erratic officiating in their favor all the time and rather than be humble, they expect and demand official favoritism more and more and are never satisfied. Then they act like whiney lil' b****es when a legit call is made. In short, I hate the Jazz.
I don't think lowry is technically a flopper. He just runs into a crowd of people and inevitably gets hit several times, forcing the officials' hand.
He is GREAT at the D-Wade tactic: barrel into whoever is inside the restricted circle. The best was when Rudy had his back turned and running away and Lowry just barrelled into him because he was in the circle.
