I met a nice man with a Tmac jersey that had been altered into a Deke jersey.

    It was awesome.

I do not find it odd at all. By your logic if someone asks Al Jefferson who he thinks will get the championship should he be trashed if he doesn't say the T-wolves? I don't think what he said was ****ty, I thought that was just being objective and realistic. C'mon now

Anybody who picks the Rox to win the Championship this year is just being overly optimistic. Yes, just like every other team we have a chance to win, but compared to the Lakers' chances of winning it is much, much less, especially now with Deke gone. I'd pick the Lakers to win it all this season as well, although of course nothing would make me happier to see us defy the odds and win it this year. Tmac was just being honest and trying to be objective in what he was saying, which I suppose is more than I can say for you

Just what we needed.... so much good playoff discussion going on finally and then more McGrady threads pop up.. he's irrelevant right now.

To the OP, so you felt right booing tmac because there were other people booing him as well? Grow some balls and do stuff for your own reasons don't be a follower. I thought the boo's were disrespectful aimed at a person that has been the main catalyst for this team since he's been in Houston. I was glad they only showed Tmac for just about 5 seconds and they did not give a shout out to him while he was at the game because he was obviously unwelcome at TC. One of the reasons I don't like attending big games like these because there will always be tons of bandwagon fans they don't appreciate each and every rocket the way they should.

Bingo. Simply put, there is NO basketball player that can play through real knee injuries. It specially cannot be done when you need microfracture knee surgery. People here just have latched on to one guy they hate and won't let it go like he stole their lunch moneh or something.

Yeah, T-Mac talks too much and this year he severely sucked but look at how much Ron was sucking on just a bum ankle at the beginning of this year. Ron wouldn't even have tried to be on the court with T-Mac's knee injury.

I'm not saying it wouldn't be smart to trade the guy next year as he might never get back to an elite level type of player. However, all this hate when the team is in the middle of a playoff run is ridiculous. Let it go, have fun watching the playoffs and forget about T-Mac until (and if) he comes back.

you're right jeff.. it's ok to spew your thoughts even though they contradict your employer who pays you 20million++.

it's ok to not say the politically correct thing like "it's going to be tough, but my rockets stuck behind me throughout this mess and i believe in them" is completely unheard of when you make up 40% of the payroll and can't play..

    you're right jeff..

tmac is good.. but you will soon realize he would be best used by this team in a way which he will not allow himself to be used..

as a role player off the ball.. not dominating the ball.

I think what you are describing is a ROCKETS FAN. Which in your case you are not!

How could you ever support the Flakers? Do you even know the rockets history with the Flakers...

Did your friend also forget to tell his Boss that he was going to get surgery?

And told the local newspaper instead, so his Boss would have to read it in the newspaper?

We need mandatory drug testing on this Board!

Oh well it was nice to finally see him on the bench supporting the team. On defense after we got a stop a few times he got up after the bench and cheered and was the only one up. Kind of surprised me.

that's pretty bad dude. I am not a big TMAC fan, but he shouldn't be treated like that, esp. in TC in person.

Yeah I noticed it too. But not everyone was doing it. Wish they would respect him a little for doing what he did last year. Oh well.

I think the team is smart to bring Tmac to the games and see how the crowd reacts.

They are probably trying to get a taste of what to expect, and let his PR people get to work on his image if he stays.
