    Why does everyone think that Ming has a billion fans? If that were fact wouldn't more of them come to the pro games in China. I would imagine that most people in China don't even know who he is. Same as in America not everyone watches basketball.:confused:

    o.k, he may not have a billion fans. But every kid in China who has ever touched a basketball probably knows who Yao Ming is. Not everyone in the U.S.A. watches basketball, but even those who don't still know who Michael Jordan is. He will probably gain more fans in China when he becomes the #1 pick in the NBA draft. From everything I've read and heard, the NBA is VERY popular in China. But, what do I know really? MysticRyder, are you from China? Maybe, you could fill us in on Ming's popularity and that of the NBA in China! If not, I'll try to link some of the articles I've read.
