Of course he also has to seal the guy behind him well after he makes the spin.

Without Tracy passing the ball, Yao will have little chance to score 30 more points per game. However, the problem with Tracy is that he likes to shoot the 3's, but his percentage is up and down

most of the entry passes are denied. It's not like they're not trying to get him the ball.

i'm happy with the win....but this is getting ridiculous.

he wasn't doubled anymore...just fronted. no more, "he's sucking 2 players his direction on offense, creating value for others." no. that's not happening. greg oden alone denied him the ball for a very significant stretch of the game. when they were rolling backside help his way, it was usually the guard who out on the perimeter sagging off his man. it was brandon roy quite a bit of the time. if brandon roy is going to affect what yao ming does in the paint, that's an issue. it was only a safety net for the blazers...just having someone there to be closer to yao and the basket in the event the lob finds its way into his hands. but not the same double-teaming we saw the other night. the blazers learned, you don't have to go that far with it.

no way i give this dude a max contract going forward. no way in the world. you can find big centers for hella cheaper who only shoot 6-7 times in a playoff game. yeah, it's rough down low during playoff games. that's not gonna change. and now having seen it, every team in the league will play him that way.

AB doesn't have the height to make this type of play.

AB also doesn't have the vision to make this type of play.

    Max contract?

    Please.

The only way Yao lives up to HALF of his potential is to get a coach that feeds the center first and foremost and then everyone else gets theirs. JVG. Phil Jackson. Pat Riley...basically, old school coaches who still believe centers are the anchor of it all.

New age basketball makes Yao type players 25pts scorers.

AND STILL, you can win with Yao type players if you have a strong 3 ala Brandon Roy who can create his own shot.

We have to accept Yao sucketh. Soft as tissue....right there with Mr. Softee himself, Tracy McGrady.

By the way, did you hear RA rail against Yao in the press conference? Needs to adjust, needs to do this, needs to force the issue...blah, blah, blah.

When your TWO BEST PLAYERS are twats, its kinda hard to win a championship.
