He had only 6 shots for a reason. If he is not sealing his man down then why force the pass to him and cause a turnover. As I said in the "Yao taking 6 shots" thread, It doesn't matter how many shots he takes. As long as the Houston Rockets win the game that's all that should matter.

The j*zz taking the fakers to a physical and nasty seventh game is a good thing for our team. In fact it's the lesser of two EVILS>.

I want the Jazz to win the series, and I'm not ashamed about it at all.

    (1) Lakers losing in the first round would be sweet.
    (2) Facing the Jazz with homecourt is much more favorable than facing the Lakers with homecourt. Losing Dikembe only strengthens that point.

I was rooting for them too. We need this series to go the distance.

like your thinking. always rational (unlike many).

though playing the lakers wouldn't be bad, either; if we somehow end up beating them...

I agree I'm conflicted. I can't stand the pre-ordination of the Lakers as the next dynasty, hate Kobe's smugness, Fisher's pocket sized thugness and just don't like LA in general. Still as soon as they show Boozer, Korver and Kirilenko I just can't bring myself to root for the Jazz.

This is one of those series you wish there could be two losers. :(

I wouldn't mind seeing the Lakers get upset. Sick of everyone talking about them. It was awesome seeing the Greatest Player of All Time shooting 5/23. :D

He wasn't aggressive at all in the first half, but that's been his MO all season. I also saw bit and pieces of the second half, but it looked to me like he settled for a lot outside jumpers. With his strength and quickness, he should have posted up more or looked to get to the basket more. He just didn't seem totally into the game. But maybe I'm not giving the Utah defense enough credit.

It was stupid not to want the Jazz to win some games. I want the series to go 7 games as should anyone. I want the Spurs to win their next game and I want the Hornets to get some wins. I want everyone from west to east to struggle except the Rockets.

It's not that we think the series will go to 7 games, it's that we want it to.

Yeah I saw the 4th quarter of that game and Kobe did settle for alot of jumpers. Some of those long 3s as well that he always hits against us. He just wasnt Kobe out there. More like Tmac. But I would give credit to Brewer. All the jumpers Kobe took were well contested.

It was just an unnatural feeling, rooting for the Jazz. I felt disgusted and dirty. Had to take 2 showers to try to wash away the bad feelings. Don't really want them to win, just want them to extend the series and make the lakers work for it.

My "best case scenario" is still Boozer and Kobe getting into a fist fight in center court. Now THAT would be a series!!
