I thought the Jazz were dead when it was 64-51. Count me impressed they came back and took this game from the Lakers despite being short-handed. Hope this thing goes 7 games.
I'm envious that both the Lakers and Jazz have got someone who can step it up and create shots for both themselves AND for teammates in the dying stages of the game. If we get to a situation like that, who do we go to? Clutch shot by Deron, and Kobe's 1-10 1st quarter really killed the Lakers.
d-will had a horrible game. Worst I've seen him play and they still win. Maybe the refs felt bad for um
Did anyone else see Gasol step in bounds just a split second before passing the ball in to Fisher? It was with just a couple of minutes to go. I went back and slow-mo'd the DVR, but I couldn't get it to go frame by frame so I'm not 100% sure about it. What is certain is that it was damn close. Would have been crazy to have the Williams 8 seconds call and an inbound violation so late in a game like that. Mostly just wondering if anyone else caught it.
I see brewer played some pretty good defense and still contributed 12-7-4. What's Battiers excuse when he plays kobe?
actually none of our players can create for others. there's a reason we got 12 assists when we made 37 baskets and shot 50%. that's just absurd. we have a lot of good 1-on-1 scorers (yao, artest, wafer, brooks). what we need to do is do a better job of swinging the ball around considering we don't have that good playmaker
