JVG and Breen are very very good. Mark Jackson is kind of a waste of space... a poor man's Barkley contradicting everything JVG says

I like Marv and Reggie Miller too. Obviously a lot of guys cant stand Marv and everyone outside of Indiana hates Reggie but they're pretty good

Walton stopped working after he got sick. He doesn't even do the ESPN studio basketball shows anymore

I like Reggie, I just think there are better analysts out there. He is better than Cheryl though, thats for sure.

I mentioned this in the game thread but the announcers for Friday's game 3 on ESPN will be Dave Pasch doing play-by-play with JVG and Mark Jackson providing analysis. Ric Bucher will be the sideline reporter.

Looking ahead to Sunday's game 4 on TNT, the announcers will be Kevin Harlan doing play-by-play with Doug Collins providing color commentary. Craig Sager will be the sideline reporter.

Collins is by far my favorite. He really knows his basketball. Does his homework (unlike Barkley who just repeats the same themes without citing specifics). Love it when he calls Houston games, because he is the only commentator on the national scene who knows about Houston bench players like Landry, etc. I remember last year, not sure which game, but he made the comment that if Houston won, their schedule was favorable to making a significant run. They went on to win 22 in a row. Really impressed me with his international knowledge during the olympics. To bad we won't see him any time soon.....

I also like Reggie, who also provides insight unlike those like Mike "the echo" Fratello, who just repeats what just happened.
