I would love to see the Christopher Nolan-type adaptation of the Turtles. I think that would be an insane box office hit, as everyone loves Ninja Turtles.

Was I in the majority in thinking that the original live-action turtles movies were a thing of greatness? Granted I was like 8 at the time, but I think not!

2007's TMNT was a GREAT flick. Only made 50 mil though. I think a lot of TMNT fans ovverrated their own fandom and didn't even go see it. That movie should have made more money.

I thought the very first movie was amazing. I think it still holds up pretty well too!

I havent seen the last one that come out or the one where they went back in time.

Whatever. I say great. It brought many aspects of the Turtles and their personilities from the comics to the big screen for the first time (not counting the 2k3 series, which brought a lot to the small screen, until it predictably veered off course) and I really appreciated that (plus we FINALLY got Splinter-trained April). Don and Mike could've used a little more development, and I would have rather the main villian been Karai (one of my fav characters), but all in all, compared to the rumors about what it could have been and the 1st trilogy, it was great.

I still love the original movie. Second one was okay, but wish it would of had Casey Jones in it...and no Vanilla Ice. Third one? Its like they intentionally tried to make the worst sequel possible...and succeeded...

I think the 2007 CGI movie proved that it isnt as big in the kids market anymore as that generation of fans have grown up. So I too am hoping for a Dark Knightesque adaptation.

I probably watched the original TMNT movie about 100 times when I was 8 or 9 years old.

I'd be afraid to watch it again now to see how well it holds up in an adult's eyes, but I might have to break out the tape to see.

The original actually holds up pretty well, at least waaaay better than parts II and III.
