Vakeaton Quamar Wafer is a 23 yr old journeyman that has played on 4 teams in 5 years.

I'm not defending T-Mac because he showed us today what he has shown with every single team he's played for....that he admittedly quits when the going gets tough. Sure he'll try to comeback and may even succeed for awhile, but you can bet if he hits any speedbumps he'll quit again.

I love when people end their statements with the word "period." Not only is it pretentious, but in this case, it's incredibly presumptious. Now, don't get me wrong, I'd say it's incredibly, incredibly unlikely for Wafer to ever have the career that McGrady had; however, for one to say definitively that he will not is ridiculous. With the amazing ability Wafer has shown and the increase in role and playing time, who knows what kind of player he could become? One could believe as he matures and improves his knowledge of the game and on the court, he could be a great player.

I mean, I seriously doubt everyone though Kobe would be what he is now when he was drafted, because if they did, he would've gone 1st unquestionably. There's no telling what Wafer ceiling is. I'm obviously not comparing him to Kobe, but I'd say his future is very bright.

HILARIOUS!... not. Don't you see this works both ways? People can't take you seriously when you're so obsessed with "being right". Take is easy, man. It's like no one is here to discuss anymore... everyone has to pick sides.. it's childish.

It is amazing to know how big mouth could influence fans opinion no matter how small the heart is.

Wow... check every single page. There is a post that had a recap.

Before you ask for the recap, why don't you look at the whole thread, instead of clicking the last page and posting that.

Boys and Girls this is called "Damage Control"

How low can you go.....he knows that he messed up. Too bad he used Rome as his propaganda puppet. No one will offer "hop along" any decent money except the Rockets...that the sad part. His career will end like AI's.

that's why i like the guy. he's TOO honest. and more celebrities/athletes should be like that rather than give political opinions sometimes. sure he gets a lot of backlash, but at least u know the guy tells it like it is.

he still basically gave the same answer as he did. this time, he did a little more explaining. he still basically says the lakers are going to win and why.

and what he said about cleveland is true. EVERYBODY is saying it. they will get to the finals but lose to the lakers. and i'm sure bron hears it and is motivated by it.

people keep saying that Rome is the best interviewer on radio, but who are you comparing him to? I think Dan Patrick does a very good job- Rome seems to suck up to everyone big time, even if he rips them later in that show... seems like he learned from the "chris" experience.

Calm down, he's asking for the actual interview because he clearly asked for a link.

How about you read the whole post instead of pouncing on a person?

You mean a career never getting out of first round? Wafer will do better than that, in 1 week.

tmac should just rehab and try to get in the best shape he can be in for next season. But honestly he won't regain to those orlando days.

You hit the nail on the head, and for this very reason I am on the other side of the fence. T-Mac can say whatever he wants now, but actions speak louder than words, and I'm done. Let's move on as a franchise, enjoy this postseason, watch how much heart a team can have when he isn't the leader (for the first time in the last three playoff appearances), and wish him well. I don't even think I would want him at the midlevel anymore, unless he agreed to come off the bench.

Thx for the vine. I'm out.

    P.S.

    Count.
