One of the truly best people ever, a true class act. I'm glad he chose to be with the Rockets orginization. God Bless Deke.

 

A great player and humanitarian. The NBA should put him in the HOF yesterday.

Deke has got to retire in summer anyway, this injury just cuts countable games from his career so I don't think it's a big shame. Unlike Tracy's case. Tracy should have a couple of good years to play.

 

sad day...sad to see him go out like that.....but he had a great career...i hope he stays on bench for the playoffs to give us some leadership

Oh man, this pretty much just ruins my day. Deke was a great player, a legend. I'm sad to see him go out like this.

I was at that Rockets Viewing Party. When I saw this, my heart sank.

Jesus Christ this hurts...

 

Rockets are cursed when it comes to injuries. This was just the worst timing. We really needed him for the playoff run. Nobody can fill his role on this team during the playoff run. We definitely missed his defense and rebounds in Game 2.

It's a terrible way to go out. I feel for him.
