Got to try harder to post Yao. And play some physical defense on Aldridge, he is only taking jump shots and you got to bump him around to mess his rythm.

Yao only 3 shot attempts in the first half. That is just plain unacceptable. We have got to work to get him shots. I don't care if he is fronted with a monkey on his back.

Fronting Yao the rest of the way. Can just having Yao get the ball at the elbow instead of down low help the fronting/double teaming down low? I still don't know how the Rockets will combat the fronting.

    Nooooooo, you are dead wrong!!!
Our players are scared to pass the ball to Yao, even once.
I cant believe RA did not make any ajustments.
It's safe to say we would dead lose this game if Yao still not get the ball!!!

At least trying to feed him will help the blazers defense stay on their toes.

quit dreaming that they can get Yao the ball in the 2nd half, Yao is too damn slow and immobile, you'll be reposting and reposting, and Rockets will have 3 seconds to jack up a shot. Either Yao hits some midrage jumpers or concentrate on offensive rebounding.

Yao's season low for shot attempts in a game is 7. Will he be able to get 4 more shot attempts?

Actually, I am pretty impressed with where the team is right now. They had plenty of chances to fold in the first half, but didn't. Roy and Aldridge are on fire. Yao has barely played and we are virtually tied. Give some props to the Wafer, he blitzed them pretty good. Get Brooks and Yao going and keep the ball away from Ron and we got a chance. (Artest has had all his good shots!)

What we need to do to get Yao the ball:

    1) If he is being fronted on one side, quickly move the ball to the other side of the arc and have Yao seal off his man
    2) Use the lob pass to get it over the top
    3) If Yao can't get open down low, get him the ball further out, then re-post him
    4) Run Yao off back screens down low to get Przybilla off his tail and get him a mismatch. If doubled, move the ball to the open shooter.

Please forward this to the #2 coach of the year.

    Thanks

Can we put Battier on Roy now? He cant do any worse than Artest is defending him.

Not getting our open three looks. Yao's gotta do a better job of getting position. One thing I've noticed, is when we run those set plays to set a pick for Yao to free him up to get position on the post up, our picks are very soft and most of the team just let Yao's man just run right on through. We have to set a solid pick to buy Yao some time to set up.

The NBA TV broadcast got an update from the trainers room. It's not definite, but they said the Portland doctors "thought it could be".

Franchise player, 3 shot a half.
Not acceptable. Adelman better figure someone out by the end of this game, or he is a useless coach.
