is not fronting. Fronting can work for a couple of positions, but consumes much more energy if you do it all game long. The better way would be having a big guy in the back, and giving Yao less resistance turning to baseline. Yao usually would take a couple of dribbles backing down, turn to baseline and take a jumper. Now as soon as Yao starts dribbling and turns, you use a guard from weak side going for a steal, Yao is slow at turning and doesn't have much lift to change his mind once he's in a move. That almost spells a TO.

Lakers use this to perfection, and a couple TO often leads to no further delivery for Yao.

Except all Yao has to do is look at his blind side to see if a double team is coming if they keep doing it.

Why did you start a thread here to discuss how to stop Yao Ming? Fans on the Blazermania.com would welcome such a thread though. Are you too dense to start a thread in the right forum?

Wow, the best way to stop Yao is to hire you to be a coach in other teams, have you applied for a coach position in NBA? I think the Portland team need you right now. Just apply for it.
