Here is my story. I am at our industries big trade show event E3, and am having a great show when I see a VERY tall guy walking and talking to some people. Of course I recognize him as Robert Horry, so I go over to where he is sitting. I hear someone say " I love your game, you are huge for the Lakers" Robert says..."Thanks man...." Then I say...."Nah, you were better in '95 with the Rockets". Horry..." What?" Me: " You remember, you hit that shot against the Spurs in San Antonio." Horry..."You remember that?" Me: "Of course...I am a huge Rockets fan....and I have a question for you" Horry "Shoot" Me: " Between Dream and Shaq, in their primes who is better" Horry "Aw man, that is tough, Shaq is so physically dominant, and Dream was just unreal, man......I really can't say they are both great players" Me " Shaq doesn't look the same this year" Horry " His feet are killing him" Me, " Well if he didn't have that 50 pound tire around his middle, his feet would probably heal faster (big grin) Horry...(also grinning). " Now I ain't got nothing to say bout that." Me: " I wouldn't think you would....heheh...Later" Horry " Late" Thus ends my contact with Horry...he was really nice....all the while I talked to him, he was signing autographs, and sitting with him was Devin George. It was kind of fun...but I had work to do........ Oh, and he was really tickled when I talked about Shaq being fat. DaDakota
Thats awesome man. You should have told him we'd love to have him back here in Houston to end his career.
cool story DaDak. off topic, but how was E3? Any big game surprises? I haven't been paying attention much to E3 news. oh, and was this before or after that HUGE shot he made yesterday?
Crisco it was on Thursday. I just got back into Austin today. I also met in LA this weekend. Little Richard, at the hotel I was staying, Paul Stanley at a friends birthday party last night, and Peter Murphy at the House of Blues on Friday night. My liver will take a full month to recover. LA is wild. DaDakota
It's the annual meeting for all cpu/console gamemakers. It's a convention where they show off their future products and stuff. Think of it as a Car Show, for video games.
