Hmm...A pretty interesting comment. I hope he just means he would rather foul Parker than giving up the layup, rather than wanting to foul him hard and try to hurt him.

you know the refs will be looking for anything excessive and probably will give him an unnecessary T or flagrant

    BUT

honestly i dont see anything wrong with what he said. Its the playoffs you need to put fear and intimidation into the eyes and heart of your enemies. I'd be telling all the Rockets to do the same to have Roy "taste wood" if he keeps getting into the lane at will and scoring easy buckets/passing to open teammates.

Hopefully its not a foul to purposefully hurt Parker, but more of a foul to send a message.

the only stupid thing Dampier did here is say this so early he should have said it before game 3, now the spurs will know he is going to try something and whine to the refs before hand

Definitely something he should've kept to himself. That's just asking for a fight to break out now that the Spurs are expecting it.

Ericka should know something about being on his back.

They already committed a flagrant and a border-line flagrant foul on Tony Parker in game 2. Instead of trying to foul him hard at the basket, maybe they should cleanup their pick and roll defense to keep him from getting into the lane in the first place.

Dampier is such a stiff. Only reason he's even in the league is because of his size. The guy is Benoit Benjamin Part II.

he got the most money out of all those guys though

    Benoit, Felton Spencer, Stanley Roberts..

actually I think Dampier is pretty similar to Ostertag in a lot of ways. You decide if that's a compliment or a negative..

Do you think Parker is either going to be afraid or intimidated by these comments?

They already were hacking at Parker as he was driving at will. The only flagrant assessed was to Jason Terry, who stood in front of Parker and put a shoulder into him like the little p***y that he is.

Guess what? Ericka's big stiff ass couldn't get over there in time to even send a "message foul". Maybe they should find somebody who can actually guard Parker instead of trying to "send a message" that he shouldn't be so good at destroying their piss-poor defense.

The Mavpricks are so cute when they try to act tough. Reality check Cuban... Your best player is a big roll of Charmin who loves David Hasselhoff, your point guard is a wife-beating scumbag way past his prime, Ericka Dampier hasn't been worth 1/10th of the money you paid him after he somehow put together 1 decent season in Golden State in a contract year after sucking up to that point. Jason Terry (The Fake Jet) is a smug little b**** and Josh Coward is just a worthless human being.

I hate to say it, but I enjoyed watching Parker destroy them last night.

I have seen your explanation of your sig before, so I get it. But for those who haven't, it is a bit misleading, no? :)

You honestly expected every single member of this forum would automatically assume you were referring to a quote in which somebody said "Aaron Brooks is a problem" in a good way?

    Pretty naive of you buddy.

Back in the day this wouldn't even be a big deal.

In today's league that is stupid to say.

Especially when the guy is averaging like 30 something points on your team this year. You just figured out that you need to put him on his back?

Don't you know that every member on this site remembers every game and every quote even though it's a preseason game? What kind of fan are you??
