    Stay cool my friend

I am as excited as anyone of you here(yes, i even said "blowed out" haha). However, don't get it too hyped before the series is done. we may have the ability to sweep blazers but we are all familiar with choking jobs and knee-jerk reactions after that, right? I am pretty sure Portland will try very hard not to lose like this again in their house.
    reasons are:
1.Stern kept the refs in check today. who knows for next game?
2.Blazer got a big stun from Yao's 7-7 1st quarter and never recovered from that shock. They will get better preparation next game and as Priz said, they would change the tactics on defending Yao, presumably fronting and doubling. That was proved very useful, yet we don't know how the Rockets will solve this problem.
3.we shot 58.5% with only 65 attempts, which is very phenomenal and with all due respect, I don't think we can keep such a high FG% during the series. we got 28 FT attempts, and they only 16. This will also probably change next game. Despite the lost, they still proved their ability as the league's best offensive board team, leading 15 to our 8. we have to be really careful about this because they had almost 20 more shot attempts than us(84 versus 65). If they get their shot back, with those offesive boards, things can be really tricky for us.
4.this big lost at their home might ruin their tempo, but more likely, bites them in the as$ and push them to fight as the underdog--which was our role. On the contrary, AB and Ron Ron...we know them. Artest played under control today and hitting shots. AB made several mistakes and harmed ball movement before Rick Adelman called him out but shot very well tonight. They both were great contributors to today's win but the important thing is they keep doing this in all games, which, I am not so certain about.
5.Coach A did a great job today facing his old team, giving Deke a lot more time/kept AB and Artest under control/limited Yao's time wisely(tho i really wanted yao to shot 10-10 and gets 30+10 :D ). Hopefully he can do this not only in situation like today but also when thing become difficult for us.

With all that said. I wish the Rox can really keep hungry and stay humble, eat the Blazers quietly and fight a quality series with the Lakers, if we somehow beat LA. oh...you know we can screw Lebron and co, and DH is no problem for Yao. wait...am I too hyped? 6 hours after the game... :D :D :D

you want to talk about happy. I'm still awake just reading anything that has something to do about this game.
I'm sure the Rockets know the pressure's on them. We've been booted out of the First round so many times it's sick.
We are playing Playoff basketball and we had to learn from getting out physical'd by Utah the last 2 years. It's Portland's turn to FEEL elbows, hardwood, and tough loses

Where did we get all those so called Rocket Fans who write stupid posts and start stupid threads. We won by 27 points for Christsakes. We blew them out at their where they have only lost 3 previous. We annihilated worst then they have ever beaten all season. We didn't just win we kicked butt and left them crying for mommy. And to say all the negative stupididity vomiting out of your mouth is just so uncool.

The refs and stern gave us a break. 2 of Yao's fouls were stupid calls and oden traveled 3 times in the paint and never got called once. It wasn't the worst officiating Against the Rockets but it was still very bad.

Yeah we shot well and they played poorly but make no mistake, the rockets may not shoot as well and AB may not play as well but the Rockets defense will not lessen one iota. That has been a constant all of the second half of the season. So please don't pretend be a knowledgeable loyal Rocket fan when all you are is some kind of leech or tmac fan who wants some attention in a big sports community or who is disappointed they are doing it without him.

    :p
oh wow, thanks for spending so much time on replying first;)
I guess you are not a "so-called Rocket fan" tho? Trying to stay on the ground is uncool, huh? Even Yao said before we win this it's still 0-0...
Talking about defense and choking job, I think we just went thru one against the same team which several years ago we beat them TWICE in their house and STILL CHOKED...
you have every reason to be hyped, i was hyped too... but please, don't smoke all day...
And, i'm not responsible if something really bad just happend to you :p

PS:I really love Tracy Macgrady.........'s expiring contract.
