Great win. I knew if the Rox stormed out of the barn with a full head of steam, Game 1 would be the perfect opportunity to steal one on the road. The hype of it all (parade?) and zero playoff experience probably nullified whatever homecourt advantage they had today. Contrary to this article I just read, post season experience is far from overrated. No experience means lack of mental preparation. The Blazers were clearly not mentally ready for the Playoff Edition of the Rockets tonight. What's really cool is that I've got this on my HD-DVR. I'll end up watching it 6 times before the next game. Ain't life beautiful? Wanted to add that I thought ESPN's broadcasting team did a really nice job covering the game. Liked the blonde!

Until I see us having 4 wins first, I'm not gonna say that. We were up 2-0 coming back home in that Dallas series as well. It's not the same team of course and the team that wins the first game wins like 70+% of series, but there's a lot of work to be done. 2-0 would be great, it's our homecourt to lose now.
Awesome win! We need to be weary of what happeneded last game of the regular season, where we had a 14 points lead and we let Mavs get back into the game. The problem was we hestated and never was too patient in trying to work the ball into Yao when Mavs are starting to front. It's obvious that this team is built around Yao, we just need to execute our game plan regardless of fronting. Many times, other guys just give up trying to feed inside when they starting to double/triple team Yao. If we keep feeding Yao inside, good thing will happen. I mean we need to stay the course the whole game as long as Yao on the floor.

Winning the first road game is better than having HCA - it's like getting HCA plus winning the first home game. That said, losing the next game would shift the momentum back to TB's favor and put the pressure on the ROX to win both home games. Those "experts" predicting TBs in 7 never said the home teams win every game. So steeling HCA is only the first step. Don't let up Rox! EVERY GAME IS A MUST-WIN!!!!!!
