    I have a feeling that Pryzbilla the thrilla and Greg oden will get into foul trouble. Like last time. Thats great for the Rockets however, if the refs will call fouls on Pryzbilla and greg i have a feeling they will call them on Ron and Shane now If thats the case Roy can have a good game and Portland doesn't lose many games when Roy is hot!

    I also have a feeling that Portland will throw Channing Frye on Yao to draw him away from the paint. Now if this does happen Portland will spread the floor and use Roy as a penatrating scorer and a decoy.

    A couple of interesting things:

    Since 1989, the 5th seed has won over the 4th seed 57.5% of the time (without home-court advantage).

    AND

    Rick Adelman has never won a playoff series without homecourt advantage. He is 0-11 in playoff series in which he doesn't have HCA.

    Just providing some stats.

    Let's go Rox, I can't wait till tip off time! #1 objective, GET YAO THE FREAKING BALL!!! If they can figure this out we should win. If they start fronting then put in all of our perimeter shooters to make them pay.
    Also, please find a way for Ron to take the ball to the hole if his J is off. He is like a bull going to the hole when he is determined!

    I'll be there for game 3 on Friday cheering for the good guys!!!

    We need Landry to be his old self again, he has missed some 15 footers he never misses and isn't aggressive, we need his muscle in there

    Shane better be ready to hit and make some open 3's! Ron needs to be aggresive and pass the ball more and not take stupid shots. Ab needs to come out and not be scared. Were gonna steal game 1 :D

    Referees for today's game (and their record for home teams):

    Bill Kennedy (38-27), Tom Washington (40-28), and Mark Wunderlich (40-27).

    At first glance, it doesn't look like we got any breaks with the crew tonight.

    Not to be deterred, I looked into how many minutes Yao played and how many free throws Yao shot in the road games these guys have officiated this year (results below). Note: Wunderlich hasn't refereed a road game for Houston since the 2007-2008 season:

    Kennedy (Rockets 3-1)
    @SA (W, 37 min, 1 FTA)
    @UTA (L, 31, 5)
    @OKC (W, 33, 6)
    @DAL (W, 41, 8)

    Washington (Rockets 2-3)
    @UTA (L, 31, 5)
    @NY (L, DNP)
    @PHI (L, 31, 8)
    @GS (W, 30, 4)
    @DAL (W, DNP)

    I figured mintues played and FTA would be a good gauge as more than likely, the more minutes Yao plays and the FTA he has, the better he'll score.

    Bottom line, if Yao gets a good whistle, we'll have a better chance to win even though the home teams have traditionally done well when these referees are assigned to a game.

    How so? If Oden will not play portland will use Frye and he will try to draw Yao away from the paint. Brandon Roy is one of the best penatrating guards in the nba, so it's no suprise to me that he will try to take it to the rim and score or or kick it, remember he averages 5 apg.

    Eight more hours to go.. :( Can't imagine what the team is doing and how are they feeling hours before the game. But Ron prob. listening to Celine Deion while chilling. :D

    i had a dream last night, that Yao Ming had 14 points off 3/5 or 4/5 shooting. then he got 27 or 28 rebounds. the game was close and in the clutch time, the blazers won on a fast break ally-oop or tip in. then i woke up and realized the game is tonight. :D i hope the rockets prove my dream is wrong. :)
