why would you want to replace adelman with rudy t? he doesnt strike me as a guy who would get on someone for slacking on D. in fact he'd probably let you play through your mistakes moreso than adelman. if u were going to replace adelman u would replace him with a dictator type.

Rudy gives you some freedom, but i dont remember him being the kind to wait too long to call a timeout, and the guy actually talks strategy, not like adelman, who apparently likes to give motivational speeches when the team needs to talk strategy...

    RudyT > Fronting Defense
    Adelman < Fronting Defense

i agree....rudy would have put battier or artest on dirk or terry to mix things up.....dirk and terry kept lighting it up and adelman kept the same d.

unlike francis that couldn't come back, rudy could actually coach for any team if he wanted to.

True, but Rudy T is no X and 0's guy either. His time is gone, physical and mental health problems have taken an addition toll on him as well.

He took francis, mobley, anderson, and walt williams to 45 wins. Rudy is without question a great coach. He could exploit the advantage his teams had. He wasn't a good gm, but he shouldn't have been fired as coach.

From what he and Yao said yesterday on FS-Hou, they do have one but here it comes....they didn't execute it.

The thing is Rudy shouldnt have ever left. We got overacheiving expectations Rudy's last year because we got started so hot at the beggining of the season.

Pointless thread. No, really. Completely pointless and lacking substance of any kind.

Rudy should have been made the designated Olympic coach for all-time. He doesn't have the stamina for the NBA. Unless Elie wants to be his Avery Johnson (like Nelson had).

looking back two things come to mind.
    1) how this we win 45 games
    2) how did we possibly think we were a good team? i rmr during the francis days thinking we could really compete in the playoffs every season, but looking back on the roster i dont know why i felt that way

If you had the money to bail Vernon Maxwell out of jail, would you?
