Tickets are on presale right now (last day today) and don't go on sale for general public until Monday. Anyone know how to get a presale code?

    Anyone gotten tix yet?

That's a weird presale code, but I'll try it. Thanks!

If you don't care, why do you keep coming into these threads and threads for movies and tv shows you don't like to basically make the same exact post over and over again? We get it already.

Faos, you have to be a member of the fan club because the code is individualized. I think you can still join right now and get one. I looked at it this way, $50 to join the fan club guaranteed I got 4 tickets at $55 for the floor/general admission which will become the most expensive ticket you can get once the after market vultures get their hands on them and mark them up to 10 times or more what they're worth. Plus you get a double disc of b-sides and rarities I bet you've mostly never heard before as a "gift."

I got 4 on the side next to the stage and will buy 4 GA's to resell on Monday.

GA will be a nightmare at Reliant though. GA at TC was hard enough when they played there - you either get there hours early or you get there whenever and try to fight your way close to the front.

Imagine trying that at Reliant with 10,000 people on the floor. F that. And if you have to go get a drink or to the bathroom you're screwed.

    GA is a horrible idea.

I'd rather see Muse who is opening for them but I'm not paying U2 prices to do it.

i'm in the fan club and bought 4 on tuesday - $100 + et al/each. unfortunately, 4 is the max you can buy with the membership. we're in section 308, which should be decent seats based on the stage configuration posted on the site.

they were asking $250/each for lower bowl. f***. and you. i'm guessing mounting a stadium tour right now probably isn't the smartest thing in the world and that reliant will be half empty come show time - so i wouldn't sweat tickets.

and yeah, i got the b-side CD - it's kind of cool. they have a bad ass version of "jesus christ' on there from the JT era and a wheels-off alternate version of "vertigo" called "native son" - totally different (better?) lyrics and direction.

30 something bucks isn't all that bad, granted the seats are high, but affordable.

no; there're 3 groups - "horizon", "day" - i think, and "boots" - that determine your seniority. your password is some long, random set of numbers and letters beginning with u2.
