I said i HELD those views for the majority of the season, since like January, and like it or not, that's still the majority although it's this year, it would be stupid for me to think this way back in october or even most of the first half of the season when we had no idea what this team could with all the injuries. I dont care if you believe me or not, you're one person, who's obviously very stubborn even when solid proof is placed in front of you. That's more than enough proof, I made those comments on general threads, no knee jerk reactions to a loss, i'm not going to search for more just to please you. It's perfectly possible not to overreact over every single loss and give up on the team (knee jerkers), yet still believe this team needs certain changes to overcome this year's consistent errors and perfect this roster, which is what i was talking about, i made no mention about giving up on the team or them "sucking" which is what wrote about in my sarcastic rants.
It's sad to see that Yao became the only option to score. And when the team loses , it's because "he's too ****ing slow". Why can't other players step up and make shots??? They're part of the team aren't they. It's just too much to put everything on one player unless that player is Kobe or LeBron.
I'm sorry but Artest should have been guarding Dirk the entire game with Battier on Howard. As soon as Dirk started burning us I would have had a lineup of Lowry, Barry, Battier, Artest, and Yao. Also something similiar should have been inserted in the 2rd when Yao was being fronted. Just get 4 guys to camp out at the 3 with just Yao in the middle, either you get an open shot or lob it to Yao if he's fronted and if the help defender leave his man from the 3pt line you have an open shot. That's why Horry was so valuable to our championship teams.
give it up Kwame...it's just like the shane thread, you treat anything that's not presented to you as if it didn't exist, so you act like you HAVE to be right unless someone provides proof, even if you make no sense, most people won't waste their time looking, so you'll be "right" only cus they didn't bother to look...i'll let you be "right" then instead of wasting my time trying to recall all of my 1600 posts. If what i already provided to you isn't enough, then nothing will be, but maybe you should do some work for a change and look through all my posts to prove me wrong, but then again doing research isn't your type of thing, so i won't hold my breath waiting...
that's it.yao is only one guy in this team now can play big games, others always sucked.when yao was front.why others can't get points?and ra is too old to be a coach.at thinks he is kb,ab thinks he is ai,that will kill us in playoff.plz trade ab,i don't want see him even 1 min.
oh yeah, and those two posts i quoted are actually A MONTH APART, the last one being 2 weeks ago, so if having the same thoughts over a span of at least a month and a half are knee jerk reactions to you, then well i dont kow what to tell you, i guess you've got bigger issues than i thought then
Im not worried. This is a good wake up call for the Rockets. Lets start fresh and support our team all the way to the championship!
RV6, Nothing personal, cuz as a Rockets fan, I got nothing but luv for ya. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/jVxTT31t458&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/jVxTT31t458&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> We all should put our differences aside and unite behind the team and support them going into the playoffs. Nothing but positive energy.
With the loss, we will meet portland in away games.. But I still believe Rockets get pass the first round. Let's roll Rockets
I didn't watch the game. Of course it hurts that we lost because it was a BIG game. Now we have to open those playoffs on the road. As for the matchup, I really like it. Portland has been very good at home but we have also won some games there. We pretty much own them in Toyota Center when we face them so it is gonna be a good series, even better than against NO. We should win, but I won't say anything until they prove me wrong. As I said, we matchup very well and on the defensive end we can easily slow down Roy with Shane and Ron (both healthly).
mavs front yao all the time, but Yao did very well in the first half.it is his teammate and coach who should be resposible for the loss. They just can not give the damn ball to his hands. that is the problem. Maybe it is a better thing to have a collapse before playoff.
i am still debating whether losing to Dallas was a good thing or not. if we won, he get homecourt, but then we would be facing the dallas again. which kind of worries me. Playing portland is at least good, because we got a mini kobe in roy that both artest and battier could contain. Ogre can't front Yao. we got their numbers just without the homecourt, which is overrated in first round anyway (for most teams).
Yao was not fronted in the first half. Yao disappeared in the 2nd half. I have never seen a player taken out of a game so easily like he is when he is fronted. Guys climb all over him like he was a jungle gym, and sit on his lap. There is really no way to pass him the ball when Yao is facing the other direction with his body sideways and a defender right in front of him and arms flailing. Yao just needs to keep moving, or stand his ground and get in front, use a spin move or something lol.
