I thought this was pretty darn cool. A one in a million shot if you ask me. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/yv5L2qNNBE0&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/yv5L2qNNBE0&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Yeah, you can see the ref waving it off as no bucket, but it's still an amazing shot and pretty neat.
Damn, that crowd was actually kinda calm when celebrating that shot. I would've jumped outta my seat just because of the ridiculousness of it.
You're on a basketball forum asking if that should count? REALLY. REALLY? Dude, it hit the ceiling and then the cable. It is OUT OF BOUNDS. 3-point attempt NO GOOD. The team with the #1 player who took the first shot is burnt orange and the other team is red.
This one's pretty good <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/MJoxGpEswOI&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/MJoxGpEswOI&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
This is even better in my opinion <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/tWLWhU4KuKQ&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/tWLWhU4KuKQ&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Now, that one I have to wonder if it counts... that's pretty crazy. For the sit-down shot, I saw a couple high school kids hit a few of those from half court and from out of bounds on the baseline.
Why was it out of bounds? It touched the top of the backboard which is not out of bounds, and then the roof etc and went down a wire support....I don't think any of that stuff is out of bounds..... Unless the roof is out of bounds, but I thought as long as it was over the court it was part of the play? Anyone, Buehler, anyone? DD
Pretty sure if the ball hits the ceiling, or anything other than the backboard, its considered out of bounds. Hell, its not even allowed to touch the top of the back of the backboard....
