Ok I think I got it. Look at the front page, It is flaunting Ming, saying that we "have our eyes firmly set on ming" Well if Clutch is hiding something it certainly is not the fact that we are actually enamored with Ming. After examing all the threads that could be deemed "Inside info" I think I have a broad spectrum of what is going on. Im not Rockets03, and I live in Montana so I do not have any sources. But I have been examining the threads and Docs codes. This is what I have come up with.
    1) There may be negotiations for Garnett going on. This would obviously involve our pick. Either Cat or Griff, another pick and a pick in the next 3 years. Someone else either from us or a 3rd team would be involved. Francis would not be required to be traded to Minneapolis as said by Kevin Mchale. The interest is been on both Houston and Minneapolis camps.
    2) A three way is a throwaway..... This is a line from Doc Rocket. I believe it is a reference to a trade, we are trading in are cards (players) for new players. The threads seem to indicate it is a Chi/LAS/Hou deal. With Us receiving Either Ming and Odom somehow, possibly Odom and Curry is being floated around (that seems a little generous though).
    3) Rashard Lewis and Micheal Olowokandi cannot be included in any deals.
Observations: I think Ming is being flaunted. Doc Rocket said the countdown is 14. I believe this is a reference to us trading the pick. Then keeping the 15th pick so we have a countdown of 14 when the draft starts. Again I live in Montana and am just prognosticating but..... I think the 3 way is gonna net us Odom and something else ( I do not think it will be ming) maybe pick 8?
Les does not want to put up with all the crap that is going on with Ming. Occams razor referes to simplicity. A complicated Trade for simple players is better than drafting a player that will always be complicated. If it is Curry that is good, if it is a pick, that is just as good. Ming looks like a huge barrel of potential. But we have a core and adding to that is probably a better option than betting the farm. I think there may be a little more to the Garnett talk than is being said. Garnett likes Rudy and vice versa. I wouldnt be suprised if that gets serious.

Doc Rocket made numerous poker references and in one said something about folding as referring to Troys info. And this tells me that the deal Troy her about fell through, a team folded. But after a fold there is always another hand. It "seems" simple to draft Ming, but if the Chinese are gonna dick around than it will always be not simple. Simple is trading the pick. I do believe that we have outlined or completed a 3 team trade. I do not think Ming will be a Rocket. But Im leaning toward Odom and Maybe Curry or another pick coming to the Rockets on draft day. Although they will pick Ming before trading him.

    let me get this straight.

you are posting your interpretation of Doc Rocket's interpretation of TroyBaros's interpretation of what he heard at a photo shoot, with some oeilpere sprinking in for good measure.

    Dreamcasting is really ...

    nevermind.

Okay, I cannot let my sources out, but the Rockets are going to surprise everybody. THe Rockets are going to draft some kid that graduated from a high school in 2001 from Jersey Village High School. His name is Kam.. I think

He goes 5 8 129 lbs. I play point, so The Rox are going to trade Steve to the Bulls for the number 2, and with the 2nd pick they are drafting some guy from Montana State.

The sources are true. Believe it! Believe it!, It's Kam Time, Believe it!

HeyP, Im hardly dreamcasting, for awhile there I was baffled by all this talk and I simply posted my interpretation of it. And Im willing to bet at least a couple of those interpretations are ballpark correct. Im sure you have been watching this situation. What do you think is gonna happen.

Dude - he is pretty fast and has some hops. He can be my Point Guard anytime.

As for all these inside sources and conflicting stories - I am lost. I will just be happy when it is all over. Clutch, what do you know?? TELL US! :)

I think the Rockets aren't going to shock anyone. I think the front office is seeing green, and is going to pick China. They want the cash flow, and who blames them, this is a buisness. I was thinking today though, when we came into this season, with Francis, Mobley, and career year by MoT, where did we think we would be in the draft? About 15, and we still have that, so you know why not take a chance, and just pick Yao Ming, and if it works, then holy crap there is your dream player, and title contender. If it doesn't work out, oh well. We still had the #15, what we were expecting going into the year.

I didn't think drafting Ming at first was a good idea, but now I say do it, unless we get a player like Kevin Garnett, or Tim Duncan.

    I don't speculate.

I made a bad bet once that stole my moniker for a year, but I don't like dreamcasting. There is no betting in that, because there are no facts worth betting on. I'm fine just waiting. Secrets are stupid, because there are no secrets, only leaks and puppets, or employees who need to be fired.

Trading for KG means that we have to blow upp our core. Drafting Ming (or whoever) would be adding to our core.
