    matching up with portland will be the best possible matchup we could have...our two great wing defenders vs. roy. their pg's are worse than our pg's. we will win in 5 or sweep...im estatic with this loss which paved the way for this matchup...if we won we could have been 2nd and faced dallas in the first round

    Agreed. Homecourt or not, they are the best matchup for us to get to the 2nd round.

    but we wouldve been 3-1 against dallas with homecourt...

    now, we don't have home court and we lost our only game in portland....por in 7

    You do realise with the loss we will most likely play the Lakers second round? Why is everyone so obsessed with getting out of the first round? With the 2nd seed we were looking nicely at a great chance to make the WCF

    Yes and how did we lose that game???

    A CRAZY BRANDON ROY shot...or else Yao had it packed up and ready to leave Portland with a win.....

    anyways we seem to have Portlands number so lets PLAY HARD, win AT LEAST ONE OF THE TWO GAMES IN PORTLAND (which is very possible) and win on our HOMECOURT.....GO ROX!!!!1

    WHATS THE DIFFERENCE if we play the lakers in the WCF or the 2nd round??? WE PLAY THEM REGARDLESS so why does everyone say that...we are going to have our shot at them so lets just do it!!!!

    everyone needs to get over this loss and look at portland. im sure thats what the rockets are doing now. there probably our 2nd best match up after the hornets. rockets in 6 and FINALLY out of the first round.

    How crazy is that 2 clock screw ups cost us hca.

    First with Roy - we all know that was a slow clock and that the clock should of elapsed before he released the shot.

    And then just the other day Finley and the refs screwed over the Kings and moreso us.

    wasn't yaos shot crazy too?

    we had no business winning that game as we were down most of the game until a late rally with tmacs help

    plus, that was 6 months ago!

    portland is much better since then

    I am fretting for numerous reasons:
    1.) no division title
    2.) no New Orleans in the first round
    3.) no cake walk to the WCF
    4.) the reminder of how worthless Yao is when the fronting defense shows itself
    5.) no home court
