If Portland wins why are they only the#4 seed?

    Someone refresh my memory of rules. If Portalnd has the head to head advantage over SA, why in the world wouldn't they be above them in seeding?

    Because SA are Division Champs, so they get the 3rd seed right, the first Tie-Breaker is Division champions right?

    Why has Utah been the #4 seed for the last 2 years then winning the division?

    Yes. The Blazers win, they get home court against the Rockets. They lose, Rockets get home court against them.

    because they werent tied with the 3rd seed..

    that division winner tiebreaker is what it is....a TIEbreaker

    Because the team with the 4th best record those years would have had a better record than Utah....

    If we get home court against Portland, when (estimated dates) would the games be played in Portland? Because I'll be there May 2 - 5.

    We'll find out late tonight. The series will be over by the time you get there unless it goes 7 to games. My guess is game 7 would be on Sunday, May 2nd.
