the blazers are NOT the best matchup. They have been underperforming against us. they have the players, talent, deepness, to take down any team inthe west. the spurs are a better matchup for us, spurs cant really blow us out and we're more athletic. The blazers can get hot easily and blow anyone out of the water.
I DO blame AB and Rick. Rick will pay for AB. Finally, People saw the differences between AB and Lowry, Rick saw it. It is not too late. It is just a little bit late due to we have to change the starting roster in the Playoffs. As we metioned before, Rockets will pay for AB as starting PG in the playofff. Everybody calm down, in order to win inthe playoffs use must win a home game because no one wins all of their home games. This may help the Rockets play looser in the playoffs. Problems tonight. * Brooks doesn't recognize big man has switch onto him and drive at him and gets shot blocked. All he had to do was bring the big man out and let Yao post his man. * Foul calls on Yao and Artest took the team out of it's best defensive lineup with Shane, Landry, and Lowry. This squad shut Dallas down * LETTING JASON TERRY GO TO HIS RIGHT HAND AND PULL UP. * Not putting Shane on Jason and Lowry on Kidd * Not putting Dirk in pick and roll similar to Yao, I think Dirk is worst

I normally wait till 1 hr after the game to post so the cry babies can get their venting out the way. Oof course, there will be 50 million new threads with half getting locked as usual. As much as people on this board like to rfate the rockets, there isn't a big difference between houston and dallas. Houston has some matchups as well as dallas has some also. I think the reason the rockets could close this game is the fundemental flaw in the composition of their team. Its bigger than Yao and the fronting problem. At the 8:36 mark, Dallas had 3 team fouls. If the rockets had more guys who can attack the rim, they wouldve gotten into the penalty early and shot free throws early. This wouldve kept the 4 min drought off the books. This is how dallas stayed in the game in the 3rd qt. They shot a lot of free throws. Also, the team has no one that can defend a big mobile guy like dirk. Not saying there are a lot of guys in the league can, but like I've said, any guy scola struggles with landry will too. Yao's stamina will always be a issue and that's for a whole another day. Shane not posting a guy that's 4 inches shorter is another debate. Bottomline, the rox make poor defensive teams with no interior defense look better than it should. They do it because of the limited slashers they have on the team. I know as usual people will blame adelman, but adelman didn't give bass that offensive rebound. Adelman did fail to give help on a terry jimmy. Adelman didn't give dirk great position to shoot over the pf. Adelman didn't.stay on the perimeter when they were 1 foul from the penalty.
I'm glad someone else is concerned about this. We're gonna actually need some planning and strategy in the playoffs and not some glorified cheerleader. On the other hand, this does explain how we almost *never* accomplish anything, set-play wise, coming out of a timeout and usually end up screwing ourselves further with some wacky shot or a terrible turnover.
IF Rick can't come up with a scheme to use when Yao is being fronted then he needs to be fired. If he has and Yao can't make it work, he needs to be benched. We better hope that some how by the grace of God whoever we play doesn't front him or it will be a short series. BTW, I will be good if we don't sign Ron for 6m or less that we just let him walk.
Adelman also apparently doesn't review plays, make adjustments, or re-enforce game plans during timeouts either. He just says "good luck and God speed! Keep yer heads up and play real hard and we'll all be winners even if it doesn't show it on the scoreboard!"
we just did so bad in the 2nd half, well..we started out good for like the first 5 mins. than it all went downhill -yao gets fronted -yao not getting the ball -yao gets called for 4 fouls, in which 2 were legit -ron goes crazy -ron goes crazier -ron goes extra crazy -ron gets in it with terry and kidd -ron gets called for the 5th foul -yao gets called for traveling..(right, call it during that time, how much did you pay mark?) -brooks really has been quiet in the last freaking month
I blame Rick due to there are so many voices to remind him Lowry should start,Lowry should play more. Rick just ignored it untill the playoff coming ,untill now....
