Maybe I will get a honorary patriot plaque from IRS consider the amount of tax I am paying to uncle sam as a Canadian citizen. :(

This is the way its always done (on a yearly basis), mostly because a certain group likes to hold AMT reform hostage . It is odd that this one group, which goes insane about estate taxes for billionaires, is so strangely silent on this issue, yet year after year they rarely agitate for reform of this issue. I am wondering if this is on purpose because it falls most heavily on a certain other group's constituents

Good point, Max. A little bit of nationalism is OK just like it is ok to be a Rocket's fan. Feeling comfortable with 100 or 1000 to one kill ratios when not necessary as we see with Israel and the US is not.

Sigh...do some research. Permanent AMT reform is held hostage by repubs who threaten to filibuster it unless it accompanies other tax cuts or spending cuts. That's your party, take it up with your fellow southerners.

I have no idea what that even means - like I said, if you want to know my take on AMT, please look up the multiple old posts I have on the subject.

Now, do you support filibustering of AMT relief by Republicans?

Don't you know basso's a "classical liberal" which means he is practically incapable of holding Republicans accountable for anything. It makes perfect sense.
