i say root for the blazers. would be great GREAT for this team to get the number 2 seed all things considered.
How is this even a question? What benefit do we get from Denver winning? Portland wins = 2 seed for Rockets = Home court for 1st two rounds!
If we can't beat Dallas or New Orleans at home we deserve to get knocked out. and i will eat my own ****
If we beat Dallas than we can beat Dallas four more times, thus I would root for Portland so we can grab the second spot. I also believe we could beat NO four more times, but if it's all the same, I'll take 2nd seed over 3rd seed.
QFT. What's the question exactly? Here's a plan: Win. And stop freaking out (like the board has been doing forever now) over who we need to beat. If we want to win, we need to beat everyone.
We root for Portlant I went through the numbers if we beat Dallas and Portland wins Rockets win 2 seed. It looks like we will be playing Dallas win or loose tommorrow 1st round.
Hmmm... I see now. Denver winning means while don't get the 2 seed, we do get the 3 seed and will play New Orleans, which is the team I'd like to play the most. So it's really a win-win, AS LONG AS we beat Dallas. Either we get 2 seed and HC for first two rounds but play Dallas, or play New Orleans first which guarantees a 1st round advance. Best part of course is neither scenario involves playing LA or Utah in the 1st 2 rounds, which is very convenient.
i dont understand all of this wimpy thinking. should we let dallas win so we dont have to play the jazz? oh the jazz are locked in 8th now... then should we hope the nuggets win so we dont have to play dallas? maybe we should lose in the first round so we dont have to play the team in the second round. i mean, is there anyone the fans are NOT scared to play? grow a pair because i guarantee that the rockets aren't scared to play ANYONE.
I don't think Dallas will have anything to play for tomorrow. We will win. But for match-ups. We match up better with San(-Manu), Den, Por and NO better than Dallas. I have no doulbt that we can beat Denver without HCA.
