I'm going out on a limb here and saying that Aaron Brooks is going to have the game of his life tomorrow....

With Utah loss and lock the 8th seed tonight, I would expect Dallas resting JH, playing little Dirk or Jason Terry tomorrow. They really get nothing to fight for.
Bust their butt to beat the Rockets so they could face the Spurs? Guess not.

 

A lot depends on this game.

If we win, we get home court in the first round and avoid the Lakers till the WCF.

If we lose, we might not have home court and will most likely meet the Lakers in the second round.

We must win. Let's send a message to those Mavs.

 

All I want from the Rockets is

1. Their best game of the year.
2. To play with incredible intensity.
3. Roll into the playoffs on fire.
4. Mercilessly beat down the Mavs.
5. Slap the smirks off the faces of Terry and Howard.
6. Posterize Dirk.
7. Win the Division.

Mavs -3 is my guess. for opening spreads.

 

Case 1: If we win on road. Wonderful! We can face them in first round!
Case 2: If we lose. Not at all, at least we dun need to meet them in first round.

I think a lot of people underestimated Dallas. They are 31-9 at home, as good as anybody in the west.
If they go all out against us on their home court ( with a healthy JH), I don't like our odds.

That being said, I personally believe they will NOT play wholeheartedly tomorrow. There is not much incentive to beat the Rockets now with Utah already locked the 8th seed. I just don't see Dallas would prefer face Spurs/Nuggets over Rockets.
