I think Artest is less valuable against the Jazz than he is against several other teams. Ideally, you'd like to be able to have him guard one of the opponent's best players. But who does he guard on the Jazz? AK? Brewer? Harpring? That's kind of a waste to have two great perimeter defenders and not be able to put them on their main offensive weapons. Meanwhile, Yao and Brooks have to try to stop the pick and roll...

He does bring toughness that we needed, but you also need discipline to beat the Jazz. And he's not very gifted in that department.

You must not have seen our last game against j*zz where we HAD Artest.

Its not about his spot, its our mismatches at the post and point guard positions.

Ronnie Brewer is probably salivating at the thought of getting to outplay Artest again.

I thought it was Paul Millsap that made Artest look like Tmac trying to guard Jamario Moon? That and shooting 5-22 I'm sure the Jazz are scared of him.

Doing a Google news search for Deron Williams didn't reveal anything remotely close to a significant injury.

Houston?? No problemo...we've got Deron Williams to burn Aaron Brooks and Mehmet Okur to burn Yao Ming!
