[Rant]Lumenos Health insurance is a Freaking RIP-OFF

If I remember correctly, the government funds the vast majority of all pharmaceutical research yet the companies make the profit from the meds that they produce. That made so little sense to me. My impression is that we already pay for this research yet we pay astronomical prices.

While I would have to see more behind your prescription proposal, my first impression is that I wouldn't care for it even though in the grand scheme of things, we would at least be heading in the right direction. I understand that this whole thing would have a ton of give and take. If that is the case, I feel that these companies should have some sort of mandated profit cap. Just making up prices is ridiculous. People in other countries pay WAY less than we do for the same exact meds.

 

All healthcare should be free.
