Yeah, I was thinking Contact as well. The simplest thing from an outside standpoint is simply drafting Ming, however dealing with the Chinese gov't, CBA, and Sharks could make pulling a 4-way trade less complicated than simply using your first pick!
Apparently there's a countdown for something for 14 days. Something to deal with a three (small forward) or 3rd pick being "given away." I think he is referring to TroyBarros and his rumor of what Steve said. Perhaps the "hand" that Steve played was his objection to getting Ming, and the Rockets called his bluff. They will get Ming, and Steve won't leave because Steve doesn't really want to leave, he just wanted to get his way. So just because, if we get Ming, Steve doesn't leave doesn't mean that the rumor TroyBaros reported might not have been true. Or else I am totally full of crap. I like the Kim Basinger idea better.
