Nope they did something about the NFL Draft. Guess I don't know when exactly but it means you have to put up Skip Bayless some more.
They mentioned they're gonna talk about the slam dunk competition he did with LeBron in high school. Should be coming up soon.
Von is getting some recognition, now this national exposure. Heard the GS announcer Jim Barnett say he was the most athletic player on the Rox when we played GS. Its going to cost Morey a few mill to keep him because he is going to get some offers this off-season. Damn I wish he was restricted.
Guess they were unable to get him or kept him off as a backup plan. Sorry guys just heard them say they were bringing him in twice. Typical ESPN.
This guy from SI is a ****ing douchebag. He said that no team wants to face Portland and that they have/can beat every play-off team on the road.
The problem with major sports outlets is that they never delve deeper into the numbers. They see Portland as a hot, young team right now, and choose them as the dark horse because it's the trendy thing to do. It's the same reason why they choose Denver. They don't bother looking into the match-ups and seeing that the Rockets have destroyed everybody who doesn't have a Lakers on the front of their jersey.
And right when i read your post, Bayless says "Its all about matchups" which shows that the media only focuses on the 'marquee teams' [lakers cavs celtics etc.] and don't know the records of other teams other than those marquee teams
Just letting you guys know they are just doing a rerun of that previous episode. It got done airing at 11. So no Von Wafer.
Hate to repeat myself again but they said again on ESPN First Take that Von Wafer will be on next my guess after the next commercial.
Nope it hasnt gone to a commercial yet. They rementioned the repeat of the slam dunk competition of Lebron that they said yesterday.
