so hornets will probably be 6th,and jazz be 8th
My favorite list is: laker, nug, rox, por, spurs, hornets, mavs, jazz, then laker beat jazz 1st round and probably meet por 2th round, something maybe happen.
If rox beat hornets 1st round, nug or mavs 2st round, por west final, and meet clev final, then......

Jazz might not be 8th they could still be 6th if they win out and the rockets win out while new orleans loses all their remaining games

Now, I am thinking it is actually a bad thing for us. The hornets won't be the 8th. I don't think there is a difference between 6th or 7th for them. That means they probably will rest their stars in the last game vs spurs. If we lost any of the final two games, we could lose HCA.

After watching both of the teams we're playing against to end the season play each other, I'm not worried about losing home court at all.

So you think the Nuggets upset the Blazers in Portland and the Rockets upset the Mavs in Dallas?

I am not that postive about the last game vs mavs in Dallas except that the mavs want to lose the game and face us in the 1st round.

Lakers can't change their position for the playoffs now Cavs have HC all the way through. Don't be surprised to see Utah winning at home and then at LA(I'm assuming they will be resting players). Assuming we win our games that leaves NO and Dallas with losses. A NO win against SA would be lovely though. Don't be surprised though if Utah does sneak into 6th.

From Sina: Yao confirmed that he will play HO. Sounds no big deal with his right foot.

That won't happen. If the lakers wanted to rest their stars, they would do it today. But, they didn't. Bynum just came back, they need more games to build team chemistry. And, their last game is on Tuesday, and their 1st playoff game probably will be on sunday (broadcast on abc). They have enough time to let their star rest. In addition, if they beat the jazz, it will be certain for them to play the jazz in the 1st round, and they can make game plans now. Why should they wait till wednesday night to know who they will play against and make game plans since then?

As I said, the Fakers has on way getting the first spot of the whole league no matter whether the CLE beat the BOS or not.So the J ass will probally beat the Fakers. If so, the Jass will probally be the 7th spot. That's the worst news for us.

Actually, I think it might happen. If there is no difference for them to be 6 or 7 seed, they might rest their stars. JKidd is old, and Dirk is not very young either.

Its probably going to be the difference between playing Denver (if they are 7th), and playing the Blazers/Spurs (if they are 6th). Again, this is assuming we lose a game.

If they get into a situation where they could play the Spurs in the 1st round if they beat them, I think they'll want to win the game because the Spurs seem like a top team that could lose a series in the 1st round.
