Yep. The Blazers won the season series over the Spurs 3-1 but if the Spurs win their division, the Blazers still lose the tie-breaker. The was a particularly bad non-call. Those refs should be ashamed of themselves. They deserve a fine or a reprimand.
oh well we win these next two games we got the division title... nothing those cheating bastards can do about it
another three way tie. lol, are we 3rd, 4th, or 5th? I'm guessing 4th. won the head to head tiebreaker between three teams , but division leader must be determined. until we play NO and Dal, SA leads us in that category for now. ??
I was thinking the same thing but I blame poor coaching. Natt never should have left the decision to Beno.
I still don't understand...how can they review end of qtr Buzzer beaters...but not end of game buzzer beaters? What...WHAT is the logic of this?
Is it just me or are the refs just getting worse and worse. Its their F...ing jobs to make easy calls like that. Doctors are doctors to not screw up when operating. Teachers teach so others may learn and Freakin NBA refs have to make easy arse calls like that ITS THEIR JOB. To me when they make stupid wrong calls like that they should be fined and if that happens maybe they will work just a little harder. I hope that stupid call doesn't come back to haunt Houston
For a sec, I thought there was 2 min review rule like NFL. I guess not. They blew it so blatantly to show the refs want Spurs to score on that possession. The fans deserve to get their money back from Stern.
They should look at reversing the call NOW and let them play it out like they did when they errantly fouled out Shaq last year.
4th. Spurs are third because until we beat NO they have us on division. We beat Portland in the head to heads. The way I see it if we win our remaining two and so do the Spurs. Division records are equal and so are conference records... meaning it goes to record against west playoff teams which I think we have the advantage in?
The other thing that's funny is that they didn't check to see if it was a two or a three, presumably because they didn't want to see that they had made such an awful mistake. They check almost every near-end-of-game three since they have the power to.
