1. eminem 2. barney the purple dinosaur 3. mike shinoda 4. ron artest (i know, i'm a homer) 5. tony parker
Camron? Mr. Wet Wipes? Juelz? Mr. Whistle song? No way. At least consider Jim Jones before you let Camron and Juelz into the discussion. Actually, none of them belong.
I'm not going to lie...I like some of Shinoda's stuff. 'Where'd you go" was decent, only because it hit home for me.
No particular order although, Lupe is my favorite rapper and Kanye a close second. Lupe Fiasco Kanye West Jay-Z Nas Tupac

Pac E-40 Outkast Mobb Deep Nas/JayZ/TI Honorable mention: Big Pun... died way too young. Lyrically, delivery, good beats... he had it all. Could have really solidified his spot if he was still around. One of my favs of his. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/3jPcc7tSXkI&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/3jPcc7tSXkI&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
I see a lot of people naming rappers who only have 2 albums on their I find that people dont beleive in logevity funny. But here is my list. 1 2Pac He transended the rap game he was so versitle and could reach mulitiples cultures. Guess he was bread to be a great rapper born from a mom involved in the black panthers in Oakland and going to high school for the performing arts in Baltimore. 2 Rakim He was doing his thang before lot of people was turned on to the music. Liten to his music now make you understand that he was the orignator of the baller style in the music 3 Scarface The true king to the south he was the best of all time in story line rap. He panted storys in the rythem that made you think you were actually there. He still talks about the racil injustice and the way the rich divided the poor using this as a weapon to fuel the fire. 4 Nas He had the abilitay to use what he learn from other rappers b4 time. A highly intellenget who want to speak on social issues today. He showed his ability to speak of politics and social issues on his last album Untitled. 5 Ice Cube The rapper everyone was afraid of. Listen to his music he brought the attention of police brutality on the west coast up front. This rapper had spoke knowledge that people are afraid to talk about today.
In no particular order Kanye Common Lil Wayne( his mixtapes NOT his mainstream album stuff) Trae Chamillionaire other notables: Lupe Fiasco, S.U.C, Rich Boi, Andre 3000, Tyga, and N.E.R.D
oops sorry for double post... but i couldnt forget my Ultimate Favoriteevin the Dude - i dont remember who it was but somebody suggested i get the coughee brothers cd.. to who you are thanks a million, that albums is genius
Is this a criticism thread? No... It's a thread to post YOUR top 5, not to criticize and make fun of what other people have in theirs. Moes you fail, like always.
Again... is this a criticism thread? PEOPLE HAVE THEIR OWN OPINIONS.... I don't know if that goes through your brain or not. This thread is opinionated, if some people don't like Nas.. then they don't like Nas. No reason to insult or humiliate them.
Trae? Are you serious? We're talking about Joc's Trae? Not even relevant to the discussion of top 5 rappers of all time.
