True, but odds are the Blazers and Spurs run the table. They both have no hard road games left, and one should win home game left.

Rockets will most likely be playing for a 2 or 5 seed in Dallas. And most likely without Yao. Uh-oh.

I would say a Portland win over Denver, even at home, is far from a sure thing. Same for San Antonio over New Orleans.

Agreed. Both of those are tossups, but I'm picking the Hornets and Blazers.

Wow... Utah is losing to Golden State... I don't think we have to worry about facing them in the 1st round.

I know, if Dallas and New Orleans win 1 game they will have the 6 or 7th seed. I think Utah will beat the Clippers, but I think there's no way they will beat LA at there place, even if they seat Kobe and Gasol :D

The mad scientist Don Nelson engineered one Rocket win and one Utah loss to twist ScriboErgoSum's magic numbers.

Dallas and New Orleans have to match Utah's win total over the last 3 (including tonight) to stay ahead. Utah could still win 2 which would force Dallas and New Orleans to win 2 as well. Of course, it's impossible for both to win 2 games without the Rockets losing one of their remaining games.

But if Utah can only win 1 more game, then the Mavs and Hornets need to win 1 each to stay ahead.

But we only need one of them to be ahead of Utah.

We still have a legitimate shot at being #2 if we win our last two. If you really want to avoid Utah, then you're still not safe unless the Rockets drop a game or Utah finishes 8th.

Warriors 7 players( the others are off-game) beat Jazz 18 players (15+ 3refs) to death. So nice! Jazz often attck warrior player by ugly unneccesory action that make me cayzy and digust.

Utah own the tiebreaker over both New Orleans (head to head) and Dallas (conference record). So Jazz win any tiebreak between the teams.

I called the game last night and said wouldn't be crazy if GS beat the Jazz? Too bad I can't get the same result with LA Clips and the blazers.

so if Utah loses one more game and Dallas and New Orleans win one more game Utah will be the 8th seed right?

Please tell me I'm right :(

Correct. If the Jazz finish 1-1, then the Mavs and Hornets can each finish 1-2 and finish ahead, leaving Utah 8th.
