It's dangerous to play Dallas Mavericks again at play-off since Dallas Mavericks became stronger since Dallas Mavericks Howard returned and NO will lost the next three games and Dallas Mavericks will become No. 6 seed in WC.

Because they suddenly win 3 home games in a row?

Yes the Mavs are playing better....they destroyed utah and beat New Orleans pretty good...

but Dampier is not the Yao stopper...

and Barea said were scared to play them....kinda makes me want to play the Mavs to quiet him....

Dallas will most likely be the sixth seed if they win in New Orleans

IF New Orleans wins, and we beat them, that last game against the MAVS will determine who we play...def going down to the last game

Dallas sucks this year, I'd gladly play them in the first round. I want New Orleans, then Dallas. We can beat Dallas in 5 games.

Plus, we need pay back. F* Up Dallas fa sho!

Actually, it was 04-05, but 03-04 wasn't all that great, either. Being trounced by the Lakers in 5 games.

Give me Dallas over New Orleans and Portland and day of the week. If there is any team incapable of responding to the increased toughness that is seen in postseason play, it's the Mavs.

I wouldnt take dallas lightly..the matchup is jason kidd experienced point vs aaron brooks..We will get abused in the playoff there since playoffs is mostly a half court game. I would much rather play New Orleans, but i still think we can take dallas. New orleans tyson chandler is still hurt so that would be good to abuse. Anyways As long as we avoid utah!!!

First, we will win out and get the #2 seed. Second, we will kick the azz of whoever we play in the first round no matter what! Cause we are pissed and tired of being wussed out of the first round!

If we lose in the first round (not going to happen though) expect Ron Ron to beat someone on the other team's azz.

If its a half court game, rox will win it. They cant run a pick and roll with dampier, and thats the only chink in the armour for the rox.

    Nice wording... :D ;)

Only thing I'm worried about is their guards. Not Jason Kidd, but Barrea and Terry. If we can control them, we'll be fine.

If we do play them, Rick might play Brooks and Lowry at the same time a lot to counter their small guards. (except for Stackhouse)

I want the matchup of coach between Rick and Rick. Rick Adelman and Rick Carlisle.

That would be a cool matchup. I don't see them as such a threat anymore

Stop worrying about who we play in the playoffs. You have to beat the best to be the best. I don't want people to say after the Rox win the title "oh they had it easy in the playoffs". It still burns me when people say "oh the Rox only won those titles because Jordan was gone". Man I wish we would have played those Bulls. In 95 we beat all the best teams...60 game winners Utah Phoenix and Spurs plus the "great" Magic team with Shaq and Penny. I say bring on the Jazz Lakers and Cavs...hell yeah!

Whatever. You tell Dallas to bring it on. It would be nice to have the Rockets end their season early.

You mean the same way you and others thought that Kidd would "abused" Brooks in his first start since the Alston trade? It is amazing how all of a sudden Dallas is this juggernaut that the Rockets should fear. Or that Utah is someone they should fear. You bring on Utah and Dallas and let them get their @sses handed to them. On a side note, Dallas "best ball of the year" includes wins over an unimpressive New Orleans squad and a fading Utah squad that just got hammered by a depleted Spurs team. Dallas has been destroyed by Cleveland during this stretch (and Cleveland is struggling) and Memphis. As for Kidd "abusing" Brooks, Kidd has been abused by speedy PGs all year long. Kidd is slipping, still strong assists at 8.7 per game but only 9 ppg. And we all know about his disappearing act in big games.
