Don't teams typically only go 7-8 deep in the playoffs? That would be Lowry, Barry/Wafer, and Landry. Now Mutombo played great tonight putting in good minutes but if Yao is healthy, I don't see Mutombo playing much if at all in the playoffs.

They were good. I give props to any teams like that who know a lot about the opposition. Anyone came in for the Rockets they knew their strengths and weaknesses and recent form. I love Bill, Matt and Clyde but I would hate to be watching our games with them if you went for the opposition.

Not like it matters know since we got the W but Azubuike's 3 on Battier should have been waved off, Biedrins set a moving screen on him.

Denver has the worst NBA commentators in the league. They are way biased.

this is a short-sighted observation. in all likelihood utah is going to end up as the six seed.

did someone say UTAH-HOUSTON Part III?

    Ugh.

who needs yao ming when we have deke? lol. deke has at least 3 years left in the tank. i say we lock him up with a multi-year deal. he just needs to go easy on that randolf kid. :D

and who the heck blocked battier's dunk attempt? obviously shane was angry, and decided to hit a big shot late in the 4th.

Damm after today's game, no team is losing ground. It looks like Houston will have to win at Dallas to take the #2 spot.

I thought Lakers is going to beat Portland and Utah is going to beat Spurs, but nope. But now i am looking at the schedules, and i am thinking Spurs will win out the rest and Portland are likely too with Denver at Portland (which is an important game). If Portland beat Denver, we can move up to #2 spot but we have to beat Dallas. If Portland lose to Denver, we get homecourt at the 3rd or 4th spot guaranteed.

Portland is playing too good, i think they will win out the rest and Spurs are likely win out the rest due to their weak schedules. So i think Houston is in a dangerous spot. They HAVE to beat Dallas at Dallas to get homecourt or else drop to #5 seed.

When I saw Ron Ron foul out, I was confident of a ROckets win. If he had been in down the stretch, a loss would be very possible. Good ball movement and good clutch shots and AB fts at the end.

Phew...thank god that is over. I thought the Rockets were going to give it away.

Ron Ron can't make those type of late-game decisions during the playoffs. He's too imortant in crunch time to plow into another player and expect a blocking foul.

Aaron should get props for making the free throws when we needed them.

Scola showed once again why he needs to get more shots in the offense. He is just a very efficient scorer and the Rockets haven't fully utilized his abilities.

Ron Artest is crazy. We've heard that time and again and we know it's true, but somebody needs to keep him in check. If he does what he did tonight in the playoffs, we would lose. Ron is simply not a good decision maker and he needs to pass the frigging ball, especially in the final minutes of a close ballgame.

What a game by Deke! What he does at his age is absolutely mind-boggling. If the Rockets do advance in the playoffs and face the Lakers, Deke could really help us. I beileve that.

And I was very impressed by AB's clutch FTs. You can't teach toughness.

2 games left. We have to win them all.
