We may see a lot of TIDPs and PIDPs this season.

4 walks to 1 so far. It should be obvious who has 4 even if you're not following the game.

Astros suck. The pitching was supposed to be the problem and now our team is having trouble batting against a guy named Peiniro.

Why do I continue bleeding Astros brick red? I'm beginning to think its a disease!

We don't make pitchers work. Other than Berkman, almost every other guy swings at everything, especially guys like Tejada, Pudge and Pence.

Until that Berkman RBI, their 5th starter completely shut down our offense.

Still only 1 walk total for the Astros.

    2 pitches later, inning over.

    We swing at everything.

If I were a die hard Stros fan, between the last 3 seasons, I would definitely consider slitting my wrists....looking for sharp knife now...looking for gun now that I'm thinking about how much it will hurt to slit wrists.

So what would a fan of a really bad team do? There were a lot of teams that did worse than the Astros. Of course our farm system is cringe-worthy.

Yeah, don't know how you can be baseball fans in Kansas City for the majority of 2000 to present. Are they the Clippers of baseball?

Pence swings and misses with the bases loaded. That may be the game right there.

With all of these under-performing geezers & little in the way of help from the younglings, sorry to say it, but the 'stros could be in for a looooooong long season.

The Astros have never got off to a fast start...for as long as I can remember. So why should this season be any different. Hell it'd probably be considered a success if they aren't 10 games under by mid-May.

And one of the more frustrating things to watch last season was the complete disparity between opposing teams disciplined approach at the plate vs. the Astros' free swinging ways. Hell forget the walks, just make the other team's pitchers work for an out at least.
